Misty Sea Angling/Boat Trips

Welcome aboard MV Heather Isle we do fishing trips all year round weather permitting from Fraserburgh through the winter months and Boddam Aberdeenshire during summertime. Trips are minimum 4hrs at cost of £30 per adult, Kids 14yrs and under £15, Rod hire £5 per person if required. Heather Isle has a 20mls COP and insured to carry 12 passengers, also has on board toilet. Typical fish caught are Cod, Ling, Coley and Mackerel but sometimes Haddock, Whiting, Scorpion Fish, Wrasse and Dab.

Our two beats on the river deveron are: Eden, which was purchased in 1970, extended in 2004 and accommodates 6 rods and Lower Inverichnie which was added in 1996 and accommodates 3 rods. Our beats have been maintained and run to the highest standards. Day tickets are available only at certain times of year, the fishing is normally rented out in weeks. Kincardine Beat is in the middle of the River Dee approximately 30 miles from the sea. The beat has superb fly-fishing water which fishes well in a wide range of heights. At normal water levels, much of the fishing is from the bank. The water is suitable for 3 rods in Spring and early Summer and again in the Autumn. In July and August we reduce to 2 rods.
