The rooms were spacious, cleaned every day and the beds big and comfortable. And the added bonus of a shuttle to the lifts in the morning, to save the uphill walk. Thank you Serendipity!

We visited Turin twice by train and loved the museums and palaces. Rivoli is a delightful place for a quiet beer and ice cream parlours. The scenery is wonderful and we seemed to make friends every day here. It has been one of the pleasantest holidays we can remember. This has been our fourth visit to stay with Luca and his parents. Great value and location
Reviewed By 530howardwThe Hotel was clean and quiet, rooms adequate with enough storage and the shower room was good also. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Very close to the ski lift so access to the slopes was easy, You can ski back to within 10m of the hotel entrance. Heated ski locker was fine although unsecured as far as I could see. Staff where helpful and courteous with check in/out very smooth. It was also nice to have 2 keys per room. The hotel was a short walk to many bars and restaurants. Would recommend and stay there again without hesitation, all round good budget hotel perfect for skiing holiday.

Great way to start our Italian Holiday
Reviewed By Andy HWe stayed for only one night but wish we had booked for longer. Not the easiest place to find but we managed to find it without resorting to a phone call to the owner. Nice change that you can't drive all the way to the B&B , lovely stroll through the wood to get to the property. Torches handed out for any evening trips. The house is lovely ( Great views ) and the owner very nice, speaks little English and we spoke little Italian but no problem. The room was large and self-contained with en-suite, air con, kettle, computer and TV if you need it. The bed linen ( my wife tells me ) was of exceptional quality.Breakfast was enough to feed a large family and was taken outside in the garden. Lots of home made preserves. In the evening the owner took us into nearby Bussolino and guided us to a Bar/Pizzaria which turned out to be very enjoyable- I don't think we would have come across it without his recommendation. We intend to return for a longer stay.

Close to the best restaurants and bars in the village. A must to visit. We will for sure come back in the winter season in near future.

Friendly quiet and comfortable

Very comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast included catering our 2y old son. I will definitely go back there, and hopefully next time will spend more time in the val Di Susa!

Reviewed By StuartALittleExcellent hotel on a budget. Couldn't believe they had accepted my booking (mostly because they don't take credit cards), but Hotel and staff were as good as gold. This is a medium sized family run Italian hotel offering basic accommodation, 1/2 board, en-suite at an unbelievable price. May not be clear from booking.com that meals are included. Food is traditional Italian 'family' cuisine (i.e. not gourmet - but very filling). Room is good, clean, basic with en-suite and balcony. View is to die for. Ski store in lobby. It is in walking distance of the Cesana lift, which is midway on the MilkyWay lift system. There is no bus, taxis are available, but the walk is invigorating (about 1km) and will get your legs warmed up! (particularly if you head up the French side as it is open). Italian side is on enclosed gondola (excellent lift capacity). Walk is through town, so you can pick up rations on the way out, and stop for a beer on the way back. Obviously good if you have a car; but will work on public transport. Buses from Oulx (main line to Turin / TGV, Paris etc) check timetables (Sadem Buses 285 OULX-CESANA-CLAVIERE). Hotel can arrange transport (friends or taxis will drive) but they speak little English. Cesana isn't a swinging town, it's quiet at night with a few nice bars and restaurants. If you want to ski - this is an excellent location; if you want to party - try Sauze. Owners are very friendly and helpful; they are also religious (some found this too much). But they are not too concerned about making loadsamoney, they offer a good honest service, and if you don't like it - don't come. Plenty of local walking and things to see in Cesana (for a morning or two), but this is not a destination place - it offers access to Sauze, Sestrierre, Claviere and MontGenevre, all of which can be reached by bus (some free) and all of which are worth visiting on foot or on skis. Olympic centre has to be done just for the crack. Down side: No ski storage at lift station, MilkyWay pass is excellent value but only includes 1 day in Montgenevre (you can buy extensions). You will probably not be able to ski down to Cesana (close, but not right down).

A very nice Chalet ski in- ski out, with indoor and outdoor resaturant, Chalet del Sole can be reached by car and few minutes walking from the town. Rooms have been renovated in december 2017. We offer Half board and Full Board service, with special menu for SKiers. Chalet del Sole is the meeting point for all the Après Ski activities, like torchlight descent, ski doo tour and excursion, and typical dinner.

Certosa 1515 is a former 16th century convent in Avigliana (Turin), now turned into an accommodation facility and a training center open to all, thanks to Luigi Ciotti and Gruppo Abele's commitment. A place to rest and think, full of history, just 45 minutes from Turin city centre. Certosa 1515 lies halfway on the mountain leading to the Sacra di San Michele, an impressive 11th century abbey symbol of Piedmont, and overlooks the wonderful landscape of the Avigliana lakes. The nuns' cells around the cloister were turned into welcoming bedrooms, thanks to a careful renovation that preserved the sobriety and minimalism of the convent. Most of them overlook the garden, offering wonderful views of the Avigliana Lakes and the surrounding hills. The 38 rooms, all with private bathroom, are divided into single, double and triple, for a total of 75 sleeping accommodations. Two rooms are equipped for people with disabilities. Certosa1515 is a perfect starting point to discover the Susa Valley and an ideal haven of rest in contact with nature. Thanks to the availability of different conference rooms, a restaurant and several bedrooms, Certosa1515 is particularly suitable to host residential activities, corporate retreats or multi-day meetings, far from the confusion of the city.
Something out of the ordinary
Reviewed By tripadaddictWe spent a night here en route home to Scotland from Arezzo. Certosa 1515 is situated way up in the hills overlooking Turin. It's a renovated monastery/convent and offers a beautiful space for conferences, b&b. It was so peaceful when we stayed there and the view from our room was wonderful. Our room was a twin room with en suite and was modern and clean and quite simply furnished. Certosa 1515 has its own restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious meal and wine. Breakfast was buffet style and offered crereals, fruit juice, pastries, bread etc. Definitely worth the drive ou into the hills. Beautiful grounds to have a wander through.

Reviewed By Mario VN 1 Classic single use room lake view at the FLEXIBLE rate of 69,00, per room per night, breakfast included: N 1 double room lake view at the FLEXIBLE rate of 79,00€ , per room per night, breakfast included. When we arrived we was given 2 rooms overlooking the back of the Hotel and not what we booked for. To make things worse I've called them before to be sure that we will have 2 lake view rooms. They have ruened my holiday.
