Its difficult to motivate off the balcony as the views from the room could be a postcard and are hard to replicate. The location is tranquil and quiet yet close by to everything Fira has to offer. The restaurant recommendations from Maria were spot on and we were convinced that because she booked our reservations we got extra special treatment, great tables in the hottest restaurants with warm greetings and exceptional service. The hospitality at Asma is perfect, we loved the expresso maker & so without asking they overstocked our supplies so we were never without. Breakfast everyday delivered to the patio seats with such a warm hello started everyday off great. The experience is heavenly. Hot tub was spotless and clean. Santorini is a magical experience and Asma is an example of 5 star hospitality perfected by the whole team. Only wish is we could’ve stayed forever.

Ok, but overpriced
Reviewed By jinxjThe hotel has amazing views, but was very overpriced for what it was (perhaps this is the case everywhere in Santorini). The pool area is nice, as are the views from the room. However, the hotel was very dated. To take a hot shower, you had to turn on the broiler 15-20 mins ahead of time and our electricity (and A/C) went out for several hours one night. The staff was pleasant, but I've received much better service at much cheaper places. Overall, it was fine but not for the price.

There have been a few changes this year with new furniture around the pool area, much improved, but the work that Mr. Nikos has put into the gardens is the highlight. So much produce is being grown all around the hotel now, it's a real pleasure to see it. There have been a couple of changes in staff this year and Sofia doing some of the daytime shifts has helped both her and Jannis to make a positive change to their own lives away from the hotel... and that makes them both happier for it. Chris in the bar is doing well and Lina? As sweet as her fabulous desserts! In the past, I have questioned how you can improve on perfection... but this year, with a few tweaks and small changes, that's exactly what they have done!

Reviewed By 951leannesWe stayed at the Anastasia Princess last week, the hotel is simply beautiful, the staff made our stay fantastic, breakfast was delicious ,the two pools were great to cool off in. Rooms were lovely , really spacious and well equipped with everything we needed & cleaned every day. The hotel is a just a stones throw away from the beach and restaurants , the bus is €2.20 to Fira and with stops it took 45 minutes. The hotel arranged our transfer to and from the airport and booked us a table in Fira for dinner to see the sunset . Nothing is to much trouble for the staff. My husband used the gym on two occasions which he said was very good. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Perissa and we hope to return next year.

We stayed for 9 nights in mid May and for bed and breakfasts was only £16 each per night! Room was clean with comfy bed and own balcony overlooking beautiful pool and covered seating area. As others have mentioned the showers have plastic shower screens which tend to cling to you but that apart there is nothing to complain about. Recommend you hire a car as although there’s is a beach, couple of restaurants and marina in easy walking distance, that aside, you are on the more remote part of the island. Not that that really matters as it’s a small island and you can drive from one end to another in 30 minutes. If you are thinking of booked then do as you won’t be disappointed! Has a big restaurant and food was excellent.

Very disappointed (do not book honeymoon suite)
Reviewed By R9243SCcraigsWe stayed here in May 2022 and based on a) the cost and b) the fact we booked the honeymoon suite, my wife and I were so very disappointed. Despite the staff being very friendly there was lots to complain about: 1. Room: the honeymoon suite was big but very dark internally, because it's situated on the ground floor so you had to keep the 'curtains' drawn the entire time. Having said that, the curtains didn't fully cover the windows so were completely ineffective at keeping the light out in the mornings, meaning the room got pretty much fully light as soon as the sun rose (which is very early in the summer months!) There was no bin in the main room, our towels didn't get cleaned every day and were also quite old, the TV did not work, air con was not great, and it felt more like we were put aside rather than staying in a premier room. The bed was quite uncomfortable and the pillows rock hard. There is a kind-of kitchenette with a fridge, a sink and some plates, but no provisions to wash anything up, and no bowls for us to eat the cereal we bought from the local supermarket. It made us want to spend as much time away from the hotel as possible the whole time we were there. We were only provided with shampoo/shower gel (all in one), nothing else like conditioner or body lotion. The shower gel wasn't great, and when we'd used it all up we had to ask in reception for more. 2. Laundry. We needed to do some laundry while there. This cost 12 euros per load - we were expecting some cost but this seemed like a lot 3. Taxi: Unless you are very abled, you will need a taxi to get to and from Fira in the evenings as it's a 40-min walk. They booked us one for 15 euro but this was a private car - not a taxi - who guilted us into giving a tip as well, for a journey that is 4 minutes by car. Book a taxi yourselves. We were furious. 4. The pictures implied you got a bath and bathrobes in the honeymoon suite...you do not. The only notion of this room being a 'honeymoon' suite was some white ribbon hanging off the clothes hangers. Despite this there was some upsides: 1. Friendly staff 2. Location. Whilst it is NOT in Fira, rather a 40 min walk away, it is a good location for those who do not mind a walking as the sun set views are incredible if you walk outside the complex on an evening stroll to Fira. Note: you will need a car if you want to see more of the island (which we did). Overall, we were very disappointed and cannot endorse this hotel. It was incredibly expensive for what we received.

Enjoying our freshly prepared breakfast and sunset drinks on the veranda was truly memorable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. 5*.
