Reviewed By Ekte1990An amazing experience! Abraham Victor and Christina are 3 of the kindest most caring hosts we have ever met. They have turned their floating island into a place one can have a beautiful time with king beds, private bathrooms and amazing views. Victor took us out on an authentic boat and showed us the traditional activities of the island people like fishing and the collecting of the reeds! Christina showed us the traditional clothes of the people and brought us special hot water bottles for the bed so that it can be warm and cozy during the night! Abraham prepared our food which was tasty and authentic. Just an amazing experience overall.

Reviewed By sarah_ka_92We arrived early in the morning in Puno and decided to go to Pacha Confort without a reservation. There was no problem in just showing up and we could go right away to our room, even if it was before the actual check in time. The room was very clean and the beds comfy. The shower was hot and breakfast also good. Puno gets really cold during the night but there are enough blankets. I would definetely come again and recommend it as a great place to stay!

Very unfriendly owner and room was not clean
Reviewed By SitsisitsiUnfortunately i got very bad itching when i used the bed. I went to tell the owner in a polite way, I was still doubting to ask for a change of sheets or leave, but she started to say very bad things about the cleaners, and when I showed her several hairs (even looking like pubic hairs) on places where i had not touched the bed, such as the space between the pillow and the pillow cover, she denied that those were 'real' hairs, while watching them. She ended up shouting at us, first telling us to pay, and when I said that was no problem, but that I would write a review, she told us to leave without paying and that I had no right to write a review because we had not spent the night there.. Very bad experience, there are much nicer and welcoming hostels in Puno ! Don't go here !

Cheap and good, except the bathrooms
Reviewed By Travelover_aegWe stayed there for one night at one of the triple rooms with shared bathroom. The staff were really helpful and they helped us book a tour to the Uros Islands for quite cheap. Breakfast and the room were good too. Our only complaint is that the bathrooms were not clean. Some bathrooms did not even have a shower pit and/or curtains and the shower head was literally in the middle of the bathroom. The showers were not hot and when we managed to get them a bit hot, then the pressure was extremely low. Also, the draining system was poorly designed and after taking a shower, the entire bathroom would flood.

Reviewed By KipotlovThe service is very good. The room and bathroom was very clean. The only negative point is that the soundproof is medium. But as the hotel was almost empty, it wasn't a problem. The buffet breakfast was good with good options. The location is good : 10-15 mins walk from the bus station, 15-20 mins from the Plaza de Armas, 20 mins from the port.

Friendly hostel, close to station
Reviewed By Alberto LHad a lovely time at this hostel, the staff was very helpful when I arrived late at night with considerable altitude sickness. They set me up in a nice clean room with private bathroom and with plenty of warm blankets to keep warm during Puno’s cold nights. Only a short walk from the station, was very happy to have found this hostel for 2 nights’ stay. I had a late bus on the day of my checkout and the staff was more than happy to let me store my luggage at the hostel and also to wait there and use the WiFi. Would definitely recommend!

Basic but clean hotel in city center
Reviewed By bwknolBasic but very clean hotel in city center of Puno. Personel friendly and breakfast fresh. Great shower. Storage of bags in locked room no problem during the day. We stayed here for 1 night before catching the bus to La Paz, would recommend it.

Nice stay at Inn overlooking Lake Titicaca
Reviewed By Heidi SHotel a little hard to find (we arrived by car) but super friendly couple running the hotel who couldn't do enough for us. They were kind enough to let us park our 2 cars in the hotel's garage (locked up). Not sure about the neighborhood. Many bars across windows and doors. 5-10 minute taxi ride into center of town. All our rooms had views on the lake. All bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Some of the showers had hot water, others luke warm. Hotel and rooms quite cold at night. Staff provided a heater for my mother at a small extra charge. Heavy blankets on beds so not cold sleeping, just in the morning when getting up and having breakfast. Noisy (dogs, traffic, construction, fireworks) like everywhere in Peru because of the single glazing. Breakfast good with eggs and at a time that best suited us.
