Staying here was quite a treat!

Reviewed By TravellingJan

We loved staying here...what a spot! The host was so helpful ahead of time about where to park and calling her when we arrived so she could meet us at the Bridge to guide us the 2 minute walk to her B&B. We loved our room... we loved having breakfast up on the rooftop terrace with amazing views...and we especially loved being within the walled city and roaming around up and down all of the alleys! What a treat. And if that is not enough, the restaurants she suggested were so good ! If in the area again, I would definitely stay here!

La Pecora Nera

Within the historic centre of Rocchetta Nervina, between the old stone houses and green plants of Wisteria and jasmine, we created an oasis of peace and rest stop. Two cozy rooms and one mini apartment, relaxing and fresh await on the second floor of an old 17th century building with barrel vaults and the stones.

Wonderful restaurant

Reviewed By ajaneb

We ate here on Saturday night, hadn’t booked but turned up early, it was quite busy already. There are tables both outdoors and inside, most people choose to sit outdoors. It’s very romantic, stone arches and pretty plants, clever lighting. The service is attentive and friendly, you feel cared for. As it gets quite chilly in the evenings early in the season, we were given rugs to keep us cosy. We shared a starter and pasta course but had individual mains then shared dessert. Very glad we did, portions are extremely generous. Everything was delicious and in particular the gnocchi with Gorgonzola and walnuts was to die for. We thought it was very reasonably priced and are looking forward to returning for another meal soon. We would highly recommend.

Perfect stay!

Reviewed By Monica S

We went to Triora for the weekend, and choose this B'n'B for the reviews, but also for the name (we love cats and we love witches). The experience was perfect, from the immaculate and comfortable rooms we had (two singles), to the jaw-dropping views from our windows.. It was like staying in a typical 16th century building (which it is), but with all the comforts and welcoming touches of a modern guest house. The breakfast in the common room was delicious and home made by the landlady (I would have gladly eaten all the cakes and croissants on offer, but didn't want to appear too greedy!). The landlord is very generous with accomodating special requests, but also, when prompted, with giving super interesting information about the history of the place, the local activities, the anecdotes regarding the infamous witches trial. There is a lovely terraced garden and a small tavern on the lower floor of the building we stayed in (the guesthouse has more than one building in the same street), and I wish we had had more time to enjoy relaxing there, but we were staying only for a couple of days. Thanks for the impeccable hospitality!

Retreat for your soul

Reviewed By Callesteros

Travelled with a group of friends exploring the valleys of Liguria for a couple of days. Had this as our travel hub. Couldn't be more lucky at our choice. A scenic place with beautiful surroundings. Have everything a place need to appeal to your soul. Reception fantastic. We all headed for the pool to get the road dust off. Had travelled since early that morning and to make us feel welcome did the patroness out up an improvised buffe of home made sweats. Rooms are charming. Best part was the breakfast set up and the dinners. Breakfast was enjoyed outside in a patio. Food at all times fantastic. A menu changing everyday all tasting fantastic. All in all together with the charming and welcoming staff made our stay the memorable Italian.
