L'hotel si trova a 800m di distanza dalla località di Pozza di Fassa, è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, grazie alla ciclopedonale, oppure in auto. X Alp si trova in una posizione strategica, vista la notevole vicinanza con gli impianti di risalita del "Ciampedie - Catinaccio Rosengarten", la fermata degli autobus e la ciclopedonale che percorre le valli di Fassa e Fiemme, costeggiando il torrente Avisio. La struttura è completamente rinnovata nell'ultimo anno, dispone di 39 camere disposte in 4 categiorie, sala meeting, sala living, sala comune, due rampe di scale e un ascensore, un ampio terrazzo e parcheggio scoperto, oltre a due depositici sci e bike. Inoltre, l'hotel dispone di un centro benessere (sauna e bagnoturco) e una vasca idromassaggio Jacuzzi esterna (panoramica e riscaldata) disponibile su prenotazione e riservato ad uso esclusivo per gli ospiti. La vista ha panorama dolomitico su tutti i 4 lati della struttura. L'Hotel dispone di connessione Wi-Fi gratuita con fibra ottica. Boutique-ish hotel with personal service
Reviewed By BrooklynTrekkerThis is a small, modern and tastefully-designed hotel with a staff that is uniformly cheerful and helpful. It's located right next to the lift to the Pera ski area, and a short drive to Buffuare. Skiing elsewhere will involve a longer drive. It's on the main road in Bal di Fassa, which is good because Pera is not a big place, and you will find yourself driving out to rent equipment, to dine and to ski. Our room was rather small, but spic and span. Bed linens were a fitted sheet, plus a duvet inside a sheet. I would have preferred a flat sheet as well. One day out of four, the staff forgot to leave towels in the room, and we had to get them ourselves. Although I didn't see it listed on Trip Advisor, the hotel has a hot tub, a steam room and a sauna. (Never travel without a bathing suit!) Unfortunately, these musty be booked in advance (due to COVID-19?), and only one party at a time can reserve. My advice is reserve early for the length of your stay if you don't want to be tubbing at 9PM. The restaurant has a great breakfast. At dinner, its aspirations greater than its execution, but the price for the four course menu is reasonable. The hotel provides ski lockers, although we discovered at checkout there was a charge of EUR 2 per day for their use.

Reviewed By skibotWould just like to say ‘grazia’ to all the lovely staff and owners at Chalet Alaska, we had such a lovely ski trip, everyone was so lovely, we were the only English couple staying at the hotel with everyone else Italian, we felt so welcome and included. We didn’t have children with us but would thoroughly recommend this hotel for those with kids, fantastic play area and a great child entertainer, kept them all amused each evening. The food was delicious and plentiful, lovely little wellness area for relaxing those tired muscles at the end of the day! Thank you again, would definitely come again x Julie and Chrisxxx

Reviewed By jaoxi2015our room was clean but was very small: it's not easy to put a big suitcase, restroom it's also quite small . There is not enough parking places so probabilly you have to park your car quite far from the hotel. Breakfast it's ok but you have to order your food filling a paper cause buffet is not allow.

Reviewed By paola2410Siamo capitati qui casi x caso, PURTROPPO solo x una notte. Zona estremamente tranquilla e molto panoramica, il padrone è una persona accogliente e davvero gentile. La prima cosa che abbiamo notato è il bel giardinetto e la possibilità di mettere l’auto in uno spazioso garage, senza alcun supplemento di prezzo. La pulizia e l’ordine sono evidenti sia nelle parti comuni che nelle stanze, che sono ben arredate è molto confortevoli, con un bel balcone dotato di tavolino e sdraio. La saletta della colazione è piccola e raccolta (hanno solo una decina di stanze!) ma si gode di un panorama unico su tutto il paese e sulle montagne che lo circondano. La colazione stessa era gustosa e varia, anche con torte e marmellate fatte in casa. Con noi c’era un bambino di 3 anni, e non hanno voluto pagasse nulla, nemmeno un piccolo contributo. Per la cifra che abbiamo pagato, per il trattamento eccellente e per l’eccellente sistemazione nel suo complesso, meriterebbe molto più di una sola stella!

Simple and smart, suitable for those who love tranquillity, simplicity and good food. The hotel is situated in the town centre of Pera di Fassa, in a calm and sunny position. Within the range of 400 metres there are the bus stop and the free skibus stop, the educational camp “Fraine”, the chairlift station, Pera Ciampedie, that allows to reach the excursion centre and the ski area Ciampedie, set in the heart of Catinaccio. The connection Buffaure/Ciampac has also been recently opened. Few metres from the hotel, you can find the entrance for the valley floor promenade that connects the High Valley with the Low Valley of Fassa and the entrance to the cross country skiing run “Ciancoal “.

They made recommendations of the hikes that we should tackle, always considering the weather conditions that we could be faced with. On days where hiking was not option, we went to the local museum to learn about what happened in the local area during WW1. In the evenings, we had a beer and wine whilst the owner played on his guitar. Perfect mood music after a day’s hiking. Thanks for a great stay.

The bathroom is a great size, the bed is very comfortable and there is a huge balcony with an amazing view of the mountains. The restaurant serves amazing food, I thoroughly enjoyed my meals here. Dinner especially was mind blowingly delicious. There is plenty of variety for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The staff are friendly and helpful as are the owners, who are lovely and will take great care of you. You will always be in excellent hands when you come and stay here and will feel like you are staying with good friends. I will be coming back next time to ski and look forward to staying here again. Also, you should have some pizza next door at Pizzeria Salin, it is the best pizza you will find!

Reviewed By Ivan BThe room is quite clean and comfortable. Breakfast is enough, the dinner is perfect and delicious. The chef is Nikola- the owner of the hotel. Sometimes the diner as quantity is too much! The staff is very kind and helpful- owner Nikola and his wife Veronika, the waitress… Good speed WiFi…(3 days there was a problem with the router who covers the rooms, caused by a lack of urgent service from the internet provider’s side). In lobby it was OK. The hotel is close to the Buffaure lift down station- ~ 200-300 m Own parking area. Language- Italian, English, Russian The shower is missing a surface for soap & shampoo.
