When it comes to outdoor activities, the Peak District National Park is the whole package. Located in the north of England, the park offers everything from horse riding to rock climbing, windsurfing to paragliding, plus walking trails galore. One trail, Derwent Valley Heritage Way, allows you to take in the area’s open landscape while also showcasing its industrial roots. Discovering hidden underground formations at such spots as Titan Cave (the highest natural cavern in the U.K.) is another popular pastime. Best of all, there are camp- and RV sites throughout so guests can settle into these surroundings.

There can be few places more quintessentially English than a country inn and in this area none more so than the Old Hall Inn. Voted Derbyshire Pub of the Year & and winner of Best Cask Pub in the East Midlands at the Great British Pub Awards, it positively exudes a warm welcome and the promise of fine local ale and excellent food. Steeped in history, this family run, 16th-century inn located in the heart of the Peak District also offers excellent en-suite accommodation in beautiful country surroundings. The young team at the Old Hall, take great pride in what we have to offer and take satisfaction in making any stay, long or short one to remember!
We stayed here for two nights in the Old Paper Mill. Staff were exceptional - friendly, professional and couldn't do enough for you. Meals were absolutely delicious, including breakfast, an evening meal in the dining room and an evening meal of pizzas. Beers were well kept and spot on. Good atmosphere in the bars. Could do with more hanging and shelf space in our room, but that's a minor point. Would recommend to others and would stay again if in the area.

Went for Sunday lunch which was amazing and despite the power cut half way through the meal it did not spoil the meal in anyway . The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and welcoming and we will definitely come back again very soon . Hopefully with no power cuts . Totally give it 5 stars

Traditional pub, bed and breakfast in Bradwell, Hope Valley selling a wide range of hand pulled cask beers.
Cannot fault this place on every occasion and tonight was Italian night. Having been to Italy many times I can honestly say this was tasty, well presented food and as always a great safe crowd of people and friends. Bradwell’s finest and long may it last. Thanks to all the team for another great night.

We stayed for two nights with our Greyhound. We stayed in the dog friendly Curbar Room with a great private outdoor space through our own entrance/exit. We was offered drinks and cake on arrival and could help ourselves during our stay. The breakfast was delicious, the room was spotless and cosy with plenty of space. Location is perfect for exploring, we visited Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth. The pub next door serves good food and is also dog friendly in the bar area. We look forward to returning in the future.

Set in Beautiful open countryside of the Derbyshire Peak District, Newly Renovated Farmhouse, located between the villages of Elton and youlgrave, and close to the market town of Bakewell, ideal for visiting Chatsworth. A warm Welcome awaits you, comfortable rooms with, ensuite facilities dining room and lounge, Home cooking, local produce. Special diets catered for by request. All the bedrooms face the front of house, and have lovely views.
This is a small working farm, doing B&B as an aside. In my view this is the highlight of the place, with free roaming chickens and turkeys, the resident pig and sheep doing the same around you, but you may not like it if you are looking for an hotel. You are not likely to see the hostess at all, and check in may be self service according to were the farmer is working when you get in. Breakfast is self service in the morning, but you are stocked with all sort of cereals and a full fridge, plus fresh eggs and fresh pastries brought in early. Good quick wi-fi but little or no phone signal. We were in the ensuite, other rooms have a private bath on the landing. Rooms are high standard and charming and guests are in a wing of the farm so that the only common area is the entrance where you are expected to leave your shoes.

Country Inn set in the heart of the peak district ideal base to explore the Hope Valley offering a friendly family run inn with 9 rooms great beers and good home cooked food in a comfy relaxed setting.
The Millstone Country Inn is a very pleasant roadside hotel set in the ‘Hope Valley’. It’s a very large establishment that really relies on its passing trade. A very well appointed room with all the usual fittings (tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, tv). The bathroom is well fitted out, although the shower cubicle is a touch on the small side. The dining facilities are ok, could probably do with a menu revamp, but the owner/chef has only recently taken over & is in the middle of refurbishing the complete hotel. Absolutely superb breakfast (very large portion), & a good supply of cereals/yoghurts etc. The owner & his wife cannot do enough for you & are a very pleasant couple. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, & myself and my wife would certainly come back again.
