Fab spa hotel with lap pool & excellent breakfast buffet
Reviewed By WalterL699To my mind, this is a spa hotel so I'm not sure why they call it a B&B. I guess it's because the restaurant is 50 metres up the road, so not physically connected to the hotel. In any event, it's wonderful. Parcines is a small village; very quiet and peaceful place to stay. The sauna and steamroom are large and modern with an even bigger relaxation area. There are two pools (one large, one small); the large one is long but not deep and filled with salted water so makes for an excellent lap pool. We had a room in the older part of the hotel, which suited us just fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. We paid EUR195 per night, which we felt was good value for money given the quality, location, views and amenities. An upgrade into the newer building (more modern, larger baths & balconies etc) would've cost EUR250 per night; probably worth it as well, if that's not too dear for you. The breakfast buffet was delicious and hugely varied. The owner's nearby restaurant was of an equally high standard and did wonderful pizzas. There are other places in the village to get a drink and the bus into Merano was super easy and also worthwhile. All in all, it's a super destination for 3-5 nights (lots of walking in the mountains) and we would highly recommend it.

The waitress Eva was so sweet and courteous, the wine she suggested was a delicious Cabernet Merlot. The food was a mixture of goosebumps and excitement, especially for me that I never had the pleasure to taste the Süd Tirol cuisine. We ordered the Canederli and the Gröstl and for dessert we had the Strudel and the Parfait with gingerbread if it was for me I would have never stop eating. I am really happy to had the chance to discover this gem of the mountains and the owner a great woman that kept throughout the years the authenticity of the traditions. Thank you I will definitely come back to visit and definitely stay for more than a dinner.

We had one dinner also very good food and yummy.

Reviewed By knotheaduscMy husband and I spent four nights at the Klein Fein Hotel Anderlahn. We really enjoyed the picturesque Sud Tyrol area, as well as the hospitality from the hotel staff at Klein Fein Hotel Anderlahn. I want to especially shout out the bartender, Janek, and the excellent cleaning staff, who were quick to service our room to a high standard. This hotel boasts a very nice spa area, with an infinity pool, hot tub, indoor pool, and a pool for children. Unfortunately, we booked a room that overlooked the children's pool and patio area, which made it a bit noisy for us in the afternoons and at night, after dinner. I suspect we would have had a better experience during the cooler months, as with the doors to the balcony closed, the noise level wasn't too bad. However, it was too warm to keep the windows closed, so we had to choose between hearing noise from outside or comfortable temperatures in the room. I also wasn't wild about the food. It was fine at breakfast time, with the usual fruits, breads, coldcuts, and pastries available. However, there was one night when the side vegetable of the day was mushrooms. I can't eat mushrooms, but they were on all of the choices as well as the vorspeisen. I ended up having an entrecote (thankfully, one can always order a steak or schnitzel) one night. The staff members and proprietors at this hotel are very kind, friendly, and hardworking. I liked the facilities very much. However, I was expecting more of a relaxing experience, which was hard to achieve under the circumstances. People typically hang out at the bar after dinner and it gets very noisy... and kids play in the pools, as they should, but also make a lot of noise. If you want to nap, read, or go to sleep early, you may have a problem. Parcines is a very charming town, though, and I am glad we visited.

Perfect place for hiking trips in Meran area

The outstanding food, the very clean and nicely designed hotel and the extremely helpful staff made our stay highly pleasant and recommendable to everyone who likes privately-run hotels with a special charme. We will definitely consider revisiting the Hotel An der Stachelburg!

The hospitality of the owners is remarkable. We really felt at ease from day 1, and one could even say in these 10 days we got some new friends. Parcines is a perfect location to explore the area around. Whether by foot or car. We look forward to our next trip there!

In this cold summer 2014, it was indeed helpful to have a daily mini club keeping busy our elder 3 year-old daughter and additionally the indoor swimming pool. Wonderful breakfast, with big variety of food for every taste. The only small weakness: no restaurant. Anyway, really recommended.

Camera molto spaziosa e con balcone (moquette e letto non comodissimo, ma enorme vano doccia), con apprezzabile livello di pulizia. Colazione di livello molto qualitativo, nella tradizione sudtirol.I gestori di sono prodigati per risolverci (con successo) un contrattempo di medio livello, indipendente da loro.
