Villa B & B 1 km from the beach, 1.5 km from the village, 1 km from the station, near the Tower of Maremma, 50 minutes from Rome. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, have private bathroom, TV and external input, you can add additional beds, cots, cot. the decor and the rooms are new. One of the rooms (110 m) is also equipped with a large living room with kitchen. Private parking, range of keys.
Simple & quaint place to sleep
Reviewed By Paul COn the way to Civotavecchia we lodged one night at t La Locanda degli Etruschi. The owner met us and gave us the keys to our room and made us feel at home. Fair size room with a small table with croissance for breakfast. Grounds are modest and clean. A few small farm animals (ducks, chickens ecc) are on the grounds which make it quite nice.

La Pecora Ladra is located in the south of Maremma between Lazio and Tuscany, is surrounded by the greenery of 20 hectares farm and is less than 1 km from the sea. It has 12 apartments tastefully furnished and equipped with all the comforts, a wonderful swimming pool and a park of secular olive trees is the background of this striking property. The family air transmitted by the owners and the very kind staff, will make you spend a pleasant and relaxing holiday.

Reviewed By TriplannerYou could not find a better “bang for your buck” than La Pecora. The apartments are elegant while still being comfortable. The 1/2 bath in the loft was very welcome. Ours had double doors to a very large and private terrace which we loved. The kitchen is small but is ok for lighter meals. The pool area is a mind blower! It is more of a Caribbean size and shape than most places in Italy. The mosaic tile must have cost them a fortune. You could get drinks or lunches in the pool area. The only negative I will say and it is small one, they need to ditch the wooden knives & forks they use for the lunches as they break and it is next to impossible to eat with them. The overall resort was carefully designed with attention to detail. The place was almost empty while we were there in the beginning of Sept which was a little surprising even if it is not on the tourist track. Lots to see in the surrounding area for day trips. If you have an afternoon flight out of FCO or don’t want to drive a lot when you arrive it is perfect as it is an easy hour away from the airport. We only stayed 4 nights and wished we stayed longer. So, we are going back for a week Sept 2018. The manager & staff were friendly and helpful. A real pleasure!!

The owner has been nice very polite and nothing was too much to ask!! Our room was nice, decent clean and spacious. Breakfast was basic, stocked with pre-packaged sweet ingredients for your breakfast and a kettle. 85 €

Nice little seaside hotel
Reviewed By TanG68We really enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay at this small seaside hotel, located right on the black sandy beach. The room was small but lovely, freshly renovated with a very nice bathroom, lots of white fluffy towels, lovely decor and comfy bedding. The hotel has an adjoining restaurant, at which we were told upon check-in, we would receive a 20% discount for being hotel guests. So on our second night, we decided to go along. The waiters were very friendly and nice but I think our order was lost or forgotten because everyone who entered the restaurant after us were eating even though we were the first diners. My husband was well and truly finished his pizza before we had to ask if my meal and my daughters was on it's way. We eventually got our meal and the lovely waiter did give my daughter a free cream and chocolate dessert but we didn't get our 20% discount and also had to pay 2,50 euro service/cover charge each so this was quite disappointing after waiting so long for our meals. Our meals were quite nice though. Breakfast was basic, consisting only of sweet cakes and croissants and no spreads. Some cheese and salami would have been appreciated. The Wifi in our room worked well. When we arrived at the Montalto train station, I expected to be able to catch a local bus to Montalto Marina but the guy in the snack bar said there was none but handed me the card of a driver who I called and drove us to the hotel for 10 euro. We emailed him for pick up back to the station 3 days later and he was very punctual and professional. Overall it was a relaxing stay, in a lovely room in a popular local getaway location best for those with their own vehicle although the train trip to Civitiveccia/cruise departure point was less than an hour which was our reason for the stay here.

Ci hanno portato la colazione in camera e nonostante un nostro amico avesse chiesto il cornetto con la crema che ci avevano detto non fosse possibile averlo.. la mattina hanno soddisfatto la richiesta!! Promosso in pieno.
