Nicola is a nice and thoughtful host, he was always happy to give us good advice and recommendations that contributed to making our trip to Lipari truly unforgettable. The property is centrally located in the village of Canneto, which is well connected to the town of Lipari by a regular shuttle service. Restaurants, bars, bakeries, beaches, tours providers and anything else you could possibly need is within short walking distance. Our room was clean and the breakfast was always rich and varied. Nicola and his B&B deserve our best recommendation.

Reviewed By BrianthejustThis B&B is about a 15 minute walk from the ferry but right next door to the old port. Room was large, clean and tidy. It is very quiet. The host could not be more friendly or helpful. My only gripe - the shower is very small!

Bartolina had been cooking for the family's Sunday dinner and they specifically waited for me so that I could eat with them and their hospitality was overwhelming and humbling. I was treated like one of the family! It's a quaint little place full of plants in the garden and every room comes straight to it. The room was immaculate with the most comfortable bed. T.V..air conditioning and wi-fi are included and It's only 5 minutes walk to the main area of the island and hydtofoil.. This place is a jewel in the crown. I recommend that you come and experience a true Sicilian welcome

Reviewed By saronicIn a small alley off the pedestrian main drag Corso Vittorio Emanuele is this small guesthouse. Its location is as central as possible and despite that quiet at night. I got for my 10-days stay room No 5 on the top floor, where there is also the big communal kitchen and where breakfast is served. Welcome was friendly and the young man in charge also helped me with the luggage all the stairs up. The room had all I needed and was of a good size. It had a balcony with chairs and a view out to the countryside. Above the double bed was a quotation by J.W.Goethe in an Italian translation: 'L'Italia senza la Sicilia, non lascia nello spirito immagine alcuna. È in Sicilia che so trova la chiave di tutto'. Apparently in other rooms are also quotations above the beds about Sicily by various well known people. The bathroom was adequate, but it is best to bring one's own toiletries, since the small sachets with a combined shampoo and shower gel were hardly ever replaced. And in all the days the towels were exchanged only once. The bucket in the room was never emptied and I had to do it myself. Room service was minimal and once completely forgotten. Breakfast is served as of 8am, which was usually too late for me, since most aliscafi to the other islands leave at about that time from the 10 minutes away pier..It was anyway a minimal buffet with bread, butter, jam and a dolce. Coffee was good. All in all I would still use this place - especially the room I got -, if I should return to Lipari.

Reviewed By Borto_PI was recommended to skip Lipari since it's touristy and the other Aeolian islands have more character. Thankfully I didn't listen...and more importantly I found villa paradiso. The location is a bit far from the port but Claudio was super helpful and even offered us his personal car to travel around. The view from villa paradiso is simply incredible. You can see both sides of the island as well as Vulcano. This view alone is worth a trip to Lipari. The accommodation itself was clean and with an old fashioned character perfect for the vibe of the relaxed stay. Claudio with his warm welcome made us feel at home; he picked us up from the port and help us enjoy at best what Lipari has to offer. I would 100% recommend this place to whoever wants to enjoy the peace of the sea and the priceless best views the Aeolian can offer

Damp Room
Reviewed By DavieHarteI must be honest in saying, our room came at about 46Euro, however even at this cost, we shouldn't have been put in a damp room, If you are in any way asthmatic you couldn't stay here. The room was located on the ground floor and looking onto an alleyway on the side of the building. The Host was very nice and accommodating however with experience I would have cancelled the booking or not booked at all if we had the heart to speak out at the time that I could not great properly in the conditions of everything being damp due to the humidity in the room. Must advise to the owners to use constant air-conditioning with this room let. Very poor WIFI>

Convenient base in Lipari
Reviewed By LondonerLisaA good value place to stay. The villa was easy to find, close to port. Rooms were clean and had own fridge with use of a shared kitchen and outdoor seating. Owners were happy to store baggage and let us use the showers after check-out which was really convenient.

Nos explico cosas de los alrededores y del edificio. *La habitación que mira al mar merece mucho la pena porque es precioso. La playa esta a 10m de la puerta de entrada. *Tiene una terraza arriba don unas hamacas y ducha por si te apetece relajarte. *La zona tiene varios restaurantes por lo que si no quieres no tiene que ir a cenar al centro de Lipari, puedes quedarte por la zona. *Tiene nevera, un buen armario y una comida, y el baño esta muy bien equipado y muy limpio. Secador pequeño pero potente. *El bar de debajo tiene una buena selección de helados, desayuno, y comida con precios razonables y buen servicio. *Buen wifi y aire acondicionado. · *No nos preguntaron a qué hora llegábamos al hotel por lo que dimos por supuesto que había una pequeña recepción. Tuvimos que llamar y esperar a que vinieran para abrirnos, no tardaron nada eso si, fueron rapidísimos. *La entrada al edifico es un poco incomoda porque la puerta es muy pequeña y tiene escalones, si llevas maletas muy grandes te costara subir. *Los 5€ del desayuno no son realmente un desayuno, si no que son 5€ para gastar en el bar de debajo. No me parece que tenga ninguna ventaja coger el desayuno puesto que vas a pagar lo mismo. *Es un poco rollo llegar al centro de Lipari ya que son 20€ en taxi o 1,30€ en autobús. Los autobuses tienen unos horarios que no siempre cumplen, por lo que si tienes que estar en Lipari centro a alguna hora concreta te recomiendo salir con tiempo suficiente. Tambien recomiendo ir a coger el bus a la parada que esta a la izquierda del hotel (unos 5 min andando) ya que es la primera y te aseguraras de tener sitio. Varias veces el autobús no paró en mas paradas porque iba lleno desde el principio.
