Good spot to relax
Reviewed By Jerrynu26Across the street from the beach front, with a nice overlook atop the lobby area to sit and watch. Rooms were reasonable, service was good. Small breakfast in the morning, enough to get going until an early lunch. 10 minute walk or less from pier area, we traveled in groups and had no problems. It was the off season, so not as many people perhaps. Still had many options for dining.

The hostel restaurant is located in the spa of Huanchaco, as opposed to the beach "the curve," we have an excellent panoramic view from our rooms with ocean view, with 3 levels, and a terrace, parking for 5 vehicles and public parking for 8 vehicles.
Food, accommodation, water. All good.
Reviewed By Rikard BLos Esteros kitchen is clean and fresh, here you can even eat salad without becoming ill in the stomach. The staff is attentive and you get what you ordered. In the shower it is really hot water with good flow in 24/7. The accommodation is also good, if you are lucky you get a room with a sea view. I highly recommend Los Esteros for your stay in Huanchaco.

The mattress and shower facilities are old, no breakfast possibilitie and primarily: The owner is super nitpicky/overly clean (annoying)... the doors a constantly locked and you always have to wait for him if you want to leave or enter the place... He also doesn't win a sympathy price... I wouldn't book here again, there a cheaper and better options!

Reviewed By Bea BThis is a friendly, inexpensive, and well-located hotel, about 1-2 kilometres from Central Trujillo. The staff were very patient at interpreting our combination of terrible Spanish, and sign language, the room was comfortable and clean, and the wifi was strong, although we didn't get hot water at all during our stay (the weather was quite hot though, so this was not a major problem). Breakfast is also basic, but there is a supermarket less than a block away to stock up if needed, and it's a short taxi ride to Chan Chan or Huaca de la Luna, and a half hour walk to the Plaza de Armas. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Welcoming hostel
Reviewed By Sue LDoris is a wonderful hostess. I arrived at 3am to a warm welcome and no fuss to my bed. In the morning she presented breakfast to my room and then assisted me to get a tour organised for the day. The bed was comfortable and the room private. The shower has hot water, the pressure is not strong. Doris was great when I left organising a safe taxi to the station. This area has a busy road outside so if you are sensitive to noise be aware.

Pretty good for the price
Reviewed By cowsandmoonsThis is a fairly basic hotel with everything you need. Our room was small but everything worked and we had the hottest water in Peru, albeit only in the shower. Breakfast was extremely basic -- okay if you're happy with just bread and eggs. We also booked a tour through the hotel and I would review the tour company separately only they never revealed their name (strange, right?). The tour was not particularly well organised, with lots of driving around to pick people up, over-booking the tour so the Spanish-speaking guide had more people than she should have and became angry when the English-speaking guide couldn't help, and turning up at sites at exactly the same time as several other groups instead of staggering it. However, our guide, who was freelance, was good once we were at the sites and we were the only two people with him. If you decide to book a full-day tour, you will be taken to a restaurant for lunch (not included). Be aware that you are not obliged to eat there.

Tv, good wifi, big bathroom and clean, good shower. Breakfast basic but okay. Manager very helpful and friendly Definitely recomendable

Best vacations ever!
Reviewed By BrendapwThis is by far the best experience I’ve had while being in Chicama. The hotel is not only beautiful and cozy but has the best location (the view was out of this world!). Staff was constantly concerned about my needs and made everything for me to enjoy my stay even though I was traveling by myself. It honestly felt like home and I’m definitely going back with the friends I made while I was staying there. If you’re looking for a nice place with good waves, make friends or just relax, I highly recommend this place. Special thanks to Kiara for being such an amazing host. See you guys soon!
