you'll get what you are paying for

This hotel is situated close to the beach, it's advantage is that the hotel rooms are renovated, but you could already see some defects on the new setup. Another advantage we found useful is that you'll get a free of charge sunshade with 2 sunbeds on the beach which normally costs abt. 15Euro per day The hotel offered inclusive breakfast which was OK, but nothing extra, just an average. The location is also good if you prefer night life as it is close to the city center where you find the most bars and shops. We were also happy with the services as we required baby cot and they arranged this for us very quickly Since I traveled with my family I can just confirm that you would not hear any noise from the streets... The rooms are spacious for 2 - 3 persons, for a bigger family you should rather look for a suite.

Comfortable and quiet

Reviewed By Sjoerddd

In short: best place to stay in central Triëst. Atmospheric building, comfortable and well-equipped appartments (home cooking), professional staff. We checked in late in a weekend, so (due to covid-restrictions) no staff at reception - but information by sms and e-mail how to check in (and park our car) was easy and complete. Had a great stay, wishing we could have stayed for a week or so.

Casa Stucky was the perfect place to stay for our family of 7 for 5 nights. Our apartment upstairs ( no lift) was so comfortable for us with 2 bedrooms,a large living area & a well equipped kitchen to prepare some meals. Two bedrooms with their own bathrooms downstairs were also very comfortable for family members with a well supplied breakfast provided. Car parking space was always available out on the road as it is a very quiet one. Our 2 grandchildren appreciated the push bikes supplied for them to ride. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here & we all enjoyed it very much.Grazie Patrizia!

Good location and comfortable

Reviewed By b037

This is a very comfortable place which is well located for the city centre and the train station. Parking might be available outside the hotel if space permits, but we were unlucky and thus parked in the closeby parking garage that the receptionist recommended. It is beside the station and not far away at all. The rooms were very nice with excellent air conditioning. The shower was also very good. The beds were also comfortable. Apparently the reception is not staffed at all times but, although we did not experience that, we got good instructions in case we arrived later.

Seven Historical Suites

Head to northeast Italy to the seaside town of Trieste and there you’ll find the most wonderful apartments known to man Seven Historical Suites. Located on the top floor of the ancient Terni Palace in the heart of the old city, the building is regarded as the most important, and most swanky, building in Trieste.

Good but not excellent - expected more for the price

Reviewed By NikPicker

The location is in close walking distance to Trieste Main square. You find a small coffee shop next door for a quick breakfast if desired. The rooms are on the top floor of a beautiful town-house. The lift only takes you half a floor below, so you have to take your luggage two flights of stairs to the room. Our suite comprised a main room with small kitchen, a bathroom and bedroom. The rooms are under the pitch of the room, which makes them cosy but not fully accessible in upright position. The rooms are decorated and furnished tastefully in classical style but lacking functionality. E.g. the couch was flooded with pillows, so before you can sit you had to remove them and figure where to put them - and btw the couch is not comfortable, but looks nice... Or the shower in the bathroom is place under the roof-pitch enabling me to just stand upright - spacious is different. The main room has a couch (with lots of pillows), a small table with four chairs and small kitchen sporting oven, capsule coffee-machine (capsule provided) and small fridge. You find all the basic kitchen utilities from pots, pans, cutlery and dishes. Unfortunately you are missing basics such as oil or even salt and pepper. So if you planning to prepare any food, you have to start from scratch. Also a microwave would would have been more useful. I can not imagine that some want to really cook in there with all the smell in that small room. Also check the dishes - ours were not really clean. All the windows and shades in the roof are electric and can be open/closed with remotes. The TV does not feature any int. channels such as BBC or CNN but only Italien channels. We had a complementary bottle of prosecco (Thank you!) and water, coffee capsules, tea as well as Acqua di Parma toiletries for the bathroom. The bathroom with shower in the tub is under the tilt of the roof which is homey on a positive note but practical is different. All amenities from soap to one-use toothbrush are available - so you are covered if your luggage got lost. The bedroom has king-size bed which is comfy and a second TV placed along side of the bed (talking practicality) with the same choice of channels. Checkout is at 11°° and be prepared to get a reminder text at 11:15. I personal never experienced to be pushed out of my room before in any place. At check out you have to pay the local tax, which had to be paid (for what ever reason) in cash - no CC accepted.... Overall the it is a quite central located, nice and stylish place to stay in Trieste with a steep price-tag. For that I would expect more flexibility for checkout, acceptance of CC and clean dishes.

I travel a lot. So I see clearly how is a place where I spend my nights. I start with the room. It was a nice and clean room. Almost new. Cute designs, nice bathroom. The owner is interesting guy... they don’t speak English... but we had 0 internet, warm water came after a half hour, and I fell on the slippery stone outside... almost breaking my bones ? what I have to say the breakfast was cake. Sorry but for me its a dessert( I don’t eat sweets at all!). The owner said if they must give salami bread or eggs, that would cost too much... ok. 2eggs must cost much. So anyway. My friend was bringing to that place with a few another client. The owner was speaking bad about her to the other client saying that she is a stupid woman! That behavior was bringing me here to write bad words! We all payed, got half service, we were quiet, then he act like a ... I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone! In the service area we must help and be happy to get clients in the autumn or winter!!!! Or just because they choose to start their hotel they must know, the best advertising is a satisfied client!!

This was a comfortable but plain hotel with a mediocre half pension offering. The staff were all lovely. Our attic room was great.
