A Comfortable Stay Down On The Farm
Reviewed By anthonytP3213PAWe stayed there when they were just getting going ... 1998? Very "farmy" and totally pleasant. (Do NOT wish to use the terms "rustic" or "quaint".) Rooms were sorta like at "Mike's Sky Rancho" ("Google" is your friend here.). The grounds were "agro" with cork trees ... and, IIRC, roaming goats. Location was off the beaten path but, still close to Items of Interest, e.g., "Coasta Smerelda", which at that time, was topless. Also were are many "nuraghe" sites: roughly-stacked stone monoliths of indeterminate purposes. At that time there was an expansive dining hall which served " prix fixe" fare ... similar to a Basque feed: lots of different Sardinian dishes. Better bring TWO appetites! It was a great place .... we were there a week.

Reviewed By ayellooshvery nice and pleasant view. however, upon eating our dinner there we noticed the lack of fresh ingredients, especially in the panna cotta which seamed tasteless and not fresh, and the lamb seemed to be burned. very unlike Italian restaurants. There was a poor choice for who has gluten intolerance . very good sauteed mussels. the communication regarding the Kayak rental was poor and we ended up missing our appointment. also, we were told that the pool is a heated pool and can easily be used also during low temperatures but that was not true, the water was cold. however, with some improvements, we would go back.

Reviewed By MFValWe stayed 2 nights in the hotel Sant'elene and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super kind with us a d they were always there to answer our questions. The hotel is located in a quiet place with plenty of parking space for your car. It is very easy to reach Tiscalli or Gorropu from there and Cala Gonone is only 15 minutes by car. The best: the views from our room, the staff and the meals we had in the restaurant.

Kianna b&b is located in Dorgali close the exit to Cala Gonone, overarched by a flourishing pine-wood and live oak. This B&B overlooks to a dale sorrounded by Gennargentu's heights and is 5 km faraway from the sea. It's an excellent start-point for free-climbing and trekking. The B&B has three rooms with private toilette, digital tv, internet, air conditioning and hairdreyer. Particular care is dedicated to the home made breakfast, served in the living room in front of the inner court.

Reviewed By Marton KWe have spent a few days here in Dorgali. Kianna is a great place to explore the Gulf of Orosei and the neighborhood. The staff was really friendly, however nobody speaks english,but that wasn't a problem at all. The breakfast was excellent and we even got it for takeaway when we left early one morning. The centro is 15 minutes away with a few good places. The rooms are spotlessly clean, equipped with a/c. Sadly the rooms are dark,absolutely no view, and the bed wasn't my favorite,but this is my personal opinion. Wi-Fi and parking also avaliable.

Comfortable family run apartment
Reviewed By Cs57753679This is not really a b&b, but an apartment with some basic breakfast items provided. Fortunately there are several supermarkets located very close by which make it easy to sort out your own meals. The facilities inside the apartment are excellent and very clean. Two good bathrooms, a kitchen/living area plus a double room and a triple room. Great for families. Location wise it is about a 100m from the sea front and the town centre. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended!

Breakfast was very generous with great variety. 10 minutes away fro the center and the port. Caterina, the owner, is a great host....She gave plenty of information about local excursions, facilities and the best spots. She is very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. We originally booked for two nights but decided to stay for an extra one ;)

Nice setting
Reviewed By KasoViajeroThe B&B is located in the countryside around Dorgali; given it has no ‘proper’ address, it is not that easy to find until you are on the right road, from where it is signposted. From the SS125, you can follow the follow “Turismo Rurale Filieri” signs; from Dorgali, the “Santa Elena” is signposted. If you have managed to find it, parking is available on the grounds. Note that check-in is only after 7 pm; earlier check-in might be arranged on request, but probably not before 5 pm, either. While you wait, you can walk around the house on the right-hand side and down the ramp to the pool area and enjoy the beautiful views and the nicely kept grounds, with lots of space for everyone (only four rooms…). Beware of the mosquitos, though – bring strong insect repellent (the rooms are equipped with electric insect repellent devices). The studios have a fully equipped kitchen, so good for self-catering; all being one room, it also means you get the compressor kicking in about every hour (noise). They also feature a walk-in wardrobe (at least my room did…), one adapter for ‘proper’ (CEE type F) European plugs, and a decently sized bathroom with a spacious shower (no hair dryer, though). The bed was ok if a bit hard; the pillow was a bit thin for my taste. My room could also not be fully darkened, as one window has no blinds and could not be opened, either. As already indicated by others, the WiFi is very slow (to the extent that for some pages my device thought there was no internet connection); mobile phone reception is fine, though. The breakfast was the usual (limited) Italian fare – nothing to write home about… A watch-it: Payment is only in cash – bring enough with you (can be inconvenient for a longer stay…).

The owners Grazia and Vincenzo are pleased to welcome the visitors in their beautiful apartment which include: A) Two large and comfortable double rooms with en suite bathroom and the possibility the include am extra bed. B) Kitchen fully furnished (Fridge ??? freezer, washing machine, TV and iron.
