Un albergo circondato dall’acqua!. l’Hotel aperto il 10-08-2020, deve il nome proprio alla sua caratteristica principale, l’acqua appunto. Donatella quarta generazione di una storica famiglia di albergatori ,insieme al marito Paolo hanno completamente ristrutturato questa struttura situata in una posizione strategica , nell’angolo nord della piazza centrale di Castiglione e con un panorama senza eguali. La scelta del nome è stata facile perchè l'hotel è circondato dall'acqua: quella della fontana in piazza Garibaldi, quella del mare, quella del fiume Bruna e della Diaccia Botrona. L’hotel ha avuto una ristrutturazione totale, diventando un piccolo albergo sostenibile , ma dal design innovativo e accattivante. Le dieci camere dell’albergo sono tutte diverse, la camera più piccola è 22mq, la più grande 57mq e l’acqua come filo conduttore. Grande attenzione all’ambiente con il totale isolamento termico e acustico della struttura e con scelte innovative come la domotica che permette attraverso le chiavi elettroniche e altre apparecchiature di comandare luci , aria condizionata, riscaldamento, televisioni, finestre, etc . permettendo un grande risparmio energetico ed evitando inutili sprechi. Acqua e cromoterapia, in alcune stanze, per ritemprare il corpo e lo spirito con un sistema di luci che variano di colore e tante altre novità. L'idea della proprietà è stata quella di realizzare un hotel sostenibile e poter soddisfare tutte le esigenze dei clienti già cominciando dalla prima colazione con molti prodotti biologici e il più possibile a Km0 per valorizzare al massimo le eccellenze gastronomiche del nostro territorio con alcuni piatti fatti al momento davanti agli ospiti scelte anche vegetariane, vegane e per intolleranze o diete particolari. Possiamo offrire il servizio spiaggia con 25 mq a disposizione per ciascun ombrellone e il servizio di ristorazione, in convenzione a circa 300 m. da noi. Intendiamo coinvolgere le persone che ci scelgono in una sorta di viaggio esperienziale, offrendo la possibilità di una vacanza completa con trattamenti personalizzati per il benessere sia della mente che della persona anche suggerendo itinerari, gite , lezioni di cucina, di pittura ,etc., da soli o in piccoli gruppi.

Reviewed By Jane WThe food was supposed to be traditional and amazing according to the reviews. We found it dissapointingly bad. Terrible service and unfriendly, disorganised staff. The portions varied wildly and the price was shocking for what we were served. I would and do pay a lot of money for excellent food, but both times I've been here its been consistantly bad. The second time we went and I was hoping that the first time was an "off night", everyone deserves a second chance. Not a third, though.

Two kilometers away from the crystal clear sea of Castiglione della Pescaia you will find the farm Pian di Rocca, a magnificent 19th century antique villa in the middle of the valley which connects the hills to the sea. Today it is an exclusive Bed and Breakfast. The villa was until the last century the hunting lodge of the Dukes Conversi Grazioli. It overlooks the Medieval courtyard of Pian di Rocca, an ancient hamlet that develops in the middle of cultivated fields once belonging to the nobles who lived in the mansion. Designed for a luxurious reception with its six bedrooms – any of them with a private bathroom – for the recreation of its guests the mansion provides two large living rooms, a breakfast room and many beautiful outdoor spaces where you can enjoy a drink or read a book. It is also possible to have an extra room for children and a room suitable for the disabled with two bathrooms, one for the disabled and the other for the accompanying person.

Reviewed By trentonmakesCastiglione della Pescaia sits on a mountainous promontory that somewhat incongruously splits the flat pinelands of the Grosseto coastal plain. After Route 158 takes you up over the promontory, it comes back down to the coastal plain again at the hamlet of Pian di Rocca. Here, a half kilometer in from the road, a dozen or so houses are nestled around an old farmhouse complex (in Italian, a "fattorìa") whose buildings -- now converted to hospitality uses -- form a square courtyard. At one side rises the spacious farm residence that has become today's delightful B&B, the Fattoria Pian di Rocca. The front desk is not staffed round the clock. Indeed, when we arrived at 6 p.m. on a summer evening there was no one about to let us in. A somewhat longer-term foreign guest, finding us waiting outside the door, had a cell number for the manager and kindly called her. She arranged for Laura, who was nearby on her motorbike, to come over and admit us. The room we were assigned was the next floor up, a spacious room with a splendid terrace and a welcome bathtub. Based on its furnishings we assumed that Martina, the owner, has invested a fair amount of time in antique shops: the furniture inside was definitely of an earlier age, which we liked. We liked even more the excellent WiFi service (take nothing for granted!) and a king-sized bed.The terrace furniture was comfortable and seduced us into idle languor. The terrace was spacious enough to allow my bride to do her yoga drills. The Fattoria also has a number of bicycles available for guests' complimentary use,. While they didn't exactly fit our height requirements, they were certainly serviceable on the narrow, untrafficked (and most important, flat!) road that runs from Pian di Rocca to the coastal road to Le Rocchette that runs through the pinewood. Breakfast is served on a back veranda. Conveniently across the courtyard is the Osteria La Corte, which attracts diners from the larger community with its rustic and savory cuisine. The B&B's high-season room rate was our most expensive accommodation charge on this trip -- about US$175 a night. My wife is eager for us to go back when we return to the Maremma next year. This was just an ideal place to unwind for a day that had no schedule or program.

Reviewed By superjackpizzaI spent a week end in April and I and my wife wad a good time. The hotel is near the sea, you can go on the beach by walking for 5 minutes. The room was clean like its bathroom and there was nice view . The quality/price rate was fine according to the period

A 10 km away is the beach of the pine forest of Punta Ala, called Civinini, pristine pine forest which is spread over 3 km of shore. To reach Rocchette and Roccamare, other popular beaches in the area, the distance will be about 12-14 km, so 'as to reach the village of Castiglione della Pescaia and admire its castle and its medieval town very picturesque.
