A stone's throw from a white sand beach and palm trees. Only the private beach is missing, it would be enough to put a couple of sunbeds and a bit of shade.

Escape to barefoot bliss… Our charming guest house is situated on the south east coast of Zanzibar, north of the village of Bwejuu. Blue Palm Guest House (formerly known as Mellow Moods) offers 9 rooms, from three budget friendly options with a shared bathroom to fully ensuite rooms. We additionally have a lovely two-bedroom ensuite family room. Breakfast is included in all rates. We enjoy a relaxed, chilled atmosphere right on a gorgeous stretch of white, sandy beach, so you can completely unwind in a garden full of palm trees and other tropical plants and fruits. The Tiki Hut (our beach bar) is situated mere metres from Bwejuu beach and has a great selection of soft drinks, cocktails, cold beers and wines which are available from morning till late. Relaxed by day and with a livelier vibe in the evening – we love to throw the occasional BBQ and beach party for your entertainment. Our restaurant has a stunning ocean view and serves a wide selection of delicious, freshly made dishes. The ocean is our swimming pool, but additionally our guests are welcome at a neighbouring resort which has a large pool at the beach, just a five-minute walk from Blue Palm. So pick a hammock or a sunbed and relax into the laid back vibes of Zanzibar. The room are quite nice, very good food and prices, and a very good cleaning services. The staff members are very friendly and thoughtful, a really excellent service!! Thanks to Raymond, Ibrahim, Chasilo, Said, Josef and all the others!! We will be back!

Reviewed By Passenger62956340217Fraud. Because of the covid we couldn’t travel to Zanzibar but they guarantee us a full reimbursement (we inform them 10 days before the departure). They didn’t do it and they didn’t answer emails and phone calls. Worst experience ever. Rude

Reviewed By Dana DGEM Beach bungalows are so nice! I was amazed by the garden and palms they have...confortalbe sunbeds to relax all day as well as hamocks or brazilian chairs. In the restaurant they serve super goooood food. Variety from seafood, meat and vege options. Rooms are neat and well equipped....but you spend only night there to get rest for next sunny day outside. Nice and comfy beds. Stuff is friendly and helpfull with everything. I asked to organise Safari in Tanzania - i get full info and had a trip of my life with all surranding wildlife. To recomend for couples and families. Location also very convinient. We got peace and quiet here.

The staff is super friendly we stayed at the hotel for 8 days during May 2022 When we arrived we had booked our own bungalow with beach front but because we had a small kid with us it was not suitable as there were stairs to reach the room and we were afraid she would fall down from there. so the team helped us to move to a better 2 bedroom room. Al though there was always insects and bugs in the room i think it is fair to say it is clean. however you need to tell the staff to clean what u want to clean because they don’t do it by nature. The food at the hotel is not cheap and not expensive so if you are planning to stay for a long period , you will need 15-20$ per person for lunch and same for dinner. Breakfast is good with few variations of what you can eat, you just need to be careful with sugar as I always found insects inside it which you can barely see. The facility of the hotel is amazing and great for kids, Big pool relatively and comparing to similar hotels Beach access is very easy and direct, it depends on what time you go to the beach during the tide I would recommend it for couples and family ✌️

Reviewed By mhalter2017Wir wohnten von November 21 bis März 22 im Simba Apartment Hotel. Wir erlebten eine sehr schöne und entspannte Zeit, obwohl wir unsere Arbeit dabei hatten. Christoph und seine Frau Diana kümmern sich sehr um ihre Gäste. Die Staff besteht aus einem Team junger, sympathischer und engagierter Mitarbeiter. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die W-Lan-Verbindung war ausreichend gut für unseren Job. Um die regelmässigen Stromausfälle zu überbrücken steht ein Generator bereit, der vorübergehend die Stromversorgung übernimmt. Der Strand ist nur einige Gehminuten entfernt und ermöglicht lange Spaziergänge. Zum schwimmen genossen wir aber den gut gepflegten Swimmingpool sehr. Hervorzuheben ist die gute und abwechslungsreiche Küche im Simba Apartmenthotel die wir sehr vermissen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Christoph und Diana, die einen wunderbaren Ort geschaffen haben, an Yusuf, der alles reparieren kann, an Charifa, die unser Zimmer und unsere Wäsche wunderbar in Ordnung hielt, an Said und Boika, die im Restaurant immer für uns da waren und natürlich an die beiden Köche, die täglich neu zauberten.

Reviewed By MickJ_1967Certainly the best place we stayed on Zanzibar. The rooms were super comfortable, good AC, nice bed and loads of hot water. The food was excellent but pre order if you don’t want to wait (60 min average wait if you don’t pre-order... but if you do then it’s ready bang on time). The tuna was stunning. We stayed 2 days and extended another 3. The owners are super helpful, the place is set up to work too - chairs/tables/power and fast WiFi - great for digital nomads like us. Clean beach and a great bar showing the football every night, so I was very happy.

Wi-Fi fungerade endast vid barområdet. Ganska dålig anslutning. Ganska isolerat. Kortare vistelse funkar dock. Går att hyra cykel och ta sig runt.
