Reviewed By BabakasssAmazing stay. The staff was amazing, especially Julia, Dimitris and Sofia. The overall experience was really quirky and I'd definitely go again. The location was fabulous and the hotel was pet-friendly as the owners had two dogs, Hara amd Elmo.

Near u have organic shops with organik fruits and vegetables with local hanmade cheese .i enjoy so much in this place .the wonderfull of this place is the hosptality of the staff and the owner ..i enjoy every moment in this place ..come again next year ?

Being located just a little walk outside the main Batsi town, enabled us to enjoy a quiet stay with outstanding sea views! The owner was really friendly and easy to get in contact with. We had a lovely holiday and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Blue Dolphin's rooms combine unique sea view & relaxing environment. In the magnificent garden you can enjoy your drink, sea view & sun (the view is one of the best in Batsi). All rooms, sited in the 1st floor, are comfortable, have their own bathroom, hot water, telephone, TV, wireless internet, hair dryer, safe boxes, a/c (cold & hot) & mini bar. The hospitality we offer is the warm feeling of “home and family” environment combined with good organisation. The seashore and the beach of Batsi is only 150-200 m away. BLUE DOLPHIN is open from April until early December. (and occasionally for some days during February & March).
Absolutely the best in Batsi
Reviewed By RosaSwitzerlandI stayed here for a week at the end of August. The Blue Dolphin overlooks Batsi and has probably the best view available of the town and harbour. Both can be reached on foot by walking down some steps and along the seafront for about 10 - 15 minutes, and there's a lovely small beach (the Kolonna) five minutes in the opposite direction. Much nicer than the big one in town. The terraced garden of the Blue Dolphin is absolutely beautiful, and a lovely place to sit and read or have breakfast (which you can also take on your balcony if you prefer). Our twin-bedded room was perfect - comfortable, bright, and with a good, powerful shower. There's also a kitchen where you collect your breakfast in the morning and can make tea or coffee at any time you like. The Blue Dolphin's greatest asset is its owner, Christos. He's friendly, helpful, kind, and permanently cheerful. He gave us a lift round to Gavrio when we were leaving, and when I realised that I'd left my jacket behind in the garden, he returned to Batsi, collected it, and brought it over before the ferry left. That's what I call going the extra mile. Oh, and to top it all, the Blue Dolphin is very good value. I'd recommend it to everyone!

Reviewed By SuziJ_12_28I arrived into Batsi on a sailing boat with friends, however my husband had been feeling seasick so we wanted a night on dry land! I did a quick google search and thought Villa Nefeli looked nice for a reasonable price. Because it was last minute, I walked to find it and found a phone number - I booked directly with a very nice, friendly lady. The room was clean, comfortable, had a beautiful view and we were very grateful of the air conditioning! Overall, we could not have been happier with this beautifully located accommodation. Thank you so much!!!

As soon as we arrived Popi was lovely and welcoming, even giving us a recommendation for a restaurant, which we ended up visiting on the night of our arrival - a very good recommendation! The location was great - opening the shutters in the morning to such a beautiful view of the sea meant the hotel really lives up to its name. It's out of the way of the main street, so it's nice and quiet, but close enough to all the amenities, with a supermarket within walking distance. Coming into Batsi from Gavrio, the bus will stop at the end of the road where Marisini is located, nice and helpful! The room was great, having everything you needed with crockery & cutlery. Plenty of storage space for clothes, which isn't often the case in hotels! The shower was a little snug, but not so small it ruined the experience. We even had a little visitor to our room - a lovely ginger cat! At the end of our trip, Popi booked us a taxi back to the port. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Marisini and it really did feel like a home away from home. If we're ever on Andros again, Marisini will be our first choice of accommodation!

Reviewed By Betisek7We put on an old travelogue and didn't make a mistake. Communication and reservations were emailed in English. Everything OK. There was no problem with delayed arrival in the evening. We had room on the third floor for our wishes. Beautiful view. Air conditioning available in the room. Both day change of bed linen and towels. The maid even washed our glasses when we left them in the sink, which we didn't expect. Classic bathroom for Greece, soap, shower gel and shampoo available. Dear lady and owner. The villa does not have its parking spaces available, so if we arrived later, it happened that we had to find a place for parking, but something always found nearby. In the vicinity of the bakery, where every day you could dig fresh pastries, how many times still warm. Accommodation can recommend, definitely will not regret.

Nikolaos and his wife hit all of the above exquisitely. In all aspects.. Do yourself a favor!. Located on a hill surrounding Batsi’s picturesque harbor Almar retains authenticity, spaciousness and a host that welcomes you as family. Eager to share the wealth of Andros with the knowledge only a local can bring. Our room was delightful, spacious, with a nice kitchenette, refrigerator, windows that open to allow the sea breeze to cleanse the air. We did have air conditioning but the sea was our soulmate providing all we required .Our patio was exceptionally generous with lounge chairs and a view of the town and harbor .. Dozens of restaurants are a 10 minute walk away with a full service market if you are inclined to cook in .. Come and enjoy the true Greece ??

Your Batsi's family
Reviewed By Daniel LIf you are looking for your lost family and memories about your childhood in the country, if you never know the warm welcome and care of your grandparents, so you have to came and spend your holidays here, to meet Adonis and Koula. It's in a quiet area with a nice view, a good comfortable and extraclean studio plus a lovely garden. Nearby you'll find a big AlfaVita supermarket (the greek AB it'sa belgian Delhaize's subsidiary) with a bus station in front, also an other one local small greek market, which is open even the saturday evening and sunday morning when the biggest it's closed. Adonis will help you with all the informations about Batsi and Andros Islands and, if you need, will came on the Gavrio's harbor to pick you and your luggage with his van. Take care, the bus station in front of the AB market is going only to Gavrio harbor. If you want to take the bus going to the Andros city, you have to go the marina's bus station. The distance to the beach it's roughly 700m, but it's an ocasion to move your bones and to have a nice walk across to the Batsi village. You have 2 ways, the direct one to the beach or the other one, going to the marina and the middle of the village. A nice and clean Blue Flag beach and a pretty marina with shops and tavernas are waiting you in Batsi. Try the Cavo d'Óro and Delfini for the best places to eat; you will find also the Dodoni's greek icecream maker, a chemist, a butcher, a travel office and few souvenir shops with handmade products, honey, wine, olive oil. Don't forget to visit the capital of the island, a very west-european 19th century style, remembering the old greek aristocratic families, when shipping and trade was the fortunes of this island.
