Reviewed By Christiaan RUmema B&B is an worderfull B&B. Patrizia is extremly nice and helpfull pointing out all the great places in the area. The rooms are adorable with indiviual art in every room. The Breakfast is fantastic with homemade marmelade, yogurt and local cakes. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

A newly renovated villa immersed in the Green, a few km from the sea and a stone's throw from aurelia bis bearing in ALASSIO, with apartments for 4 or 5 persons or B&B double rooms with bath, carport, staff breakfast in the lounge or the outdoor gardens relaxing room, bathroom with sauna, heart-shaped bathtub, bath in wine, fitnes. by June a pool suitable for all. Liguria is a wonderful place, where the sun shines almost all year, flowers, herbs and olive trees are masters. Beautiful promenades with hundreds of restaurants to taste the local specialties. Vermentino is a first floor apartment with bedroom, living room with sofa bed and large solarium terrace. The White Rose is an apartment with bedroom and living room with sofa bed and a small room with a bed can be. Of course, each apartment has its own bathroom with shower, carport within the walls of the structure. Villamir is in a convenient location not far from the sea, not far from the famous and Zuccarello medieval old town, the historical centre of Albenga is just five minutes away by car, just 80 km from Montecarlo and from nearby France, but it's even more wonderful for those who want to go cycling, walks or want to have a bit of calm. Reviewed By marysnow_ieReading so many positive reviews we decide to book even if it felt overpriced. We were given a reality check. The positive reviews might be of people staying one or two nights and just getting in and out. This was not the case for us, with 7 nights booked, so we could see the real cycle at Villamir. Everything could have been acceptable except: 1. cleaning not done during the stay, but after (i.e. no daily beds and cleaning done); 2. most notably, late evening, the hosts switch off the emergency number they give you, i.e. if you cannot find the keys (it can happen to anyone), they do not take responsibility at all for your inability to access the room; 3. the fan held with a little rope (I am a fan of reuse, recycle, but this is taking it too far, not only dangerous for health and safety, but noisy as hell) At the beginning we thought it was overprice, but very clean (at arrival) and overall welcoming. It turned out to be far from the expectation, what we paid and hospitality standards. It is the second time in my many travels I write a negative review, but this B&B is far from standards.

Cà de Lisetta located in the medieval old town of Albenga has three beautiful rooms with private bathroom fully renovated in June 2016. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and air conditioned offer access to free digital TV and have Wi-Fi Internet. The furniture attention to detail is based on a different theme for each room.

The hostess Simone was very friendly and helpfull and made us feel very welcome the whole stay! You can have a nice breakfast in the two bars in front of the rooms. 2 of the 3 rooms were located next to a busy square with noise and music in the evening. I think that's part of staying in the middle of the center. So for us, this was no problem at all. But if you are looking for a more quite place, you can ask for room number 1. We had a lovely stay and we would really recommend this place!!

Nice place in a medieval tower
Reviewed By 65rainerdIf you like medieval buildings, it is a must. Recently renovated, you will find charming rooms and a charming host in the centro storico of Albenga. Good breakfast, comfortable beds. However, you should not go there until it is really hot outside. The old walls keep cool (and this might be annoying as long as it is cold outside. The heating did not work...).

Reviewed By Sosso1515We wanted something more than pizza and something less than a white tablecloth place. The restaurant at the Hotel Torino fit the bill perfectly. It’s not fancy, but neither are the prices. It’s clearly a family affair with mother and father working and children about. Service was prompt and extra friendly. The food was real home cooking and really good. Artichokes are in season now and we had a salad of shaved raw artichoke and another antipasto of artichoke stewed in butter (yum). Before the meal we were each given a small slice of warm spinach pie on the house and afterwards our server shared bottles of homemade limoncello and a blueberry cordial that packed a wallop. The beef was perfectly grilled to requested doneness. The meal became a happy experience that we’ll always remember.

Lovely host & convenient stop over
Reviewed By Alex FTraveling by car we were looking for a stop over and 1/2 hour before getting to the Rivera decided that this town would be our stop. Without much fuzz whilst I was driving my wife booked this facility on line within 5 minutes and before we knew, we had driven past the house. Backing up, we found a brand new purpose build B@B facility with what looks like four rooms with own bathroom and balconies. The hostess was a delightful good English speaking girl with baby on the hip. The rooms are air conditioned and the room we stayed at the back of the house is quiet. Because this house is right on the main road leading into the old part of the town, I would imagine that rooms near the road are not as quiet as our room. We drove into the main town after a shower to explore some beaches and find a place to eat. This proved a challenge because on Monday's and/or Tuesday's some restaurants are closed. Breakfast was well catered for the next day, all in all a good choice for a stop over.

For those of us who care for the style from older times, like our hosts do, the stay at Artemisia is a very nice experience. Other guests, but also family and friends, shows up at breakfast time some mornings. It was a most friendly atmosphere. And the cleaning was exellent. Grazie mille!
