Beautiful place to visit, swim and snorkel for all ages. An easy walk from car park and short easy walk to Elephant Rocks, both very worth seeing.

This beach is incredible It has lovely white sand and you can walk out on the sand bar There are beautiful local fish that are rather inquisitive and if you’re lucky you might see a sea turtle Definitely worth the drive

A nice walk through the bush and along the cliffs from Manly Bay to Shelly Beach with lots of great outlooks along the way. Some areas require stabile footing due to rocks. Glad we wore trail running shoes. And we did this all in torrential rains. Still loved it.

A great spot at the southern tip of the mornington peninsula area. From the beaches of Sorrento/Portsea to the pretty cape schanck area with its lighthouse it has a bit of everything. add in wildlife areas such as Greens Bush with its abundant wallabies and kangaroos or the beaches of fingal/gunnamatta or flinders, you will find reasons to return time and time again. So many spots to visit that you will want to return more than once

Best best in Australia and best sunset!! Great place for a swim or just get sun tan! Highly recommend coming down here to watch the sunset! Grab a picnic basket and some drinks and chill on the grass

Have visited Darwin many times over the last 30 years and a visit to Mindil Markets and to view the Sunset is always a must do on every visit, The variety of food stalls is amazing and they really highlight the diversity of Darwins population. Market stalls are always worth a browse and the sunset has never let e down. Go see for yourself.

We stayed at The Peninsula Boutique Hotel, at the far end of this awesomely serene Beach (just off Main Street, at the town end). The hotel, sits back but next to the beach and is ideally scenically located for the beach. Four Mile Beach is a Stunning view to see & a pleasure to explore.. Its wide; clean and the sand is not grainy underfoot.. Yes, there can sometimes be jellyfish in the water - BUT, you can swim in the safe / secure netted area (at the one end of the beach), snorkel & see the sea life very safely.. There’s also a lifeguard here, should you get into distress - again, adding to the safety of this lovely beach.. Additionally, you can cycle down this beach easily and safely - as well as enjoying a gentle stroll???? Just, don’t forget the sunscreen - whatever your doing on the beach????

I have traveled extensively and this stretch of beach beats plenty others I have seen, including Santa Monica, Hoi An, and others. If you are escaping the colder climates of Australia and beyond, this beach will be all you need to feel fantastic. Beautiful clean sand, gorgeous rolling surf, superb sunrises and moonrises, all patrolled by Australia’s famous surf life savers. Ideal for romantic strolls along the beach.
