Zinco Jazz Club

Reviewed By dough0529

I had an excellent time on a Thursday night at Zinco. I had made a reservation, which put me into a slightly shorter and faster line to get in. This is like a Hollywood movie set of a jazz club, but that is just great. Literally subterranean and dark. The band that night played old black U.S. blues like BB King, Ray Charles, they sang in English and quite well. Actually the band knocked me out. Food: I went there partly because I knew they served rib. With a bottle of red wine they were really good. Finally, half-crocked, I walked the three blocks back to my hotel at about midnight. If there were any danger I'm sure I would have run into, since I look like an easy target at 68 years old with a walking stick!! Perfectly safe, cops everywhere (2 per block), a lively night out. I'M LYING ABOUT THE DATE ON THIS REVIEW. THE TRIP WAS IN FEB. 2019 BUT I COULDN'T GO THIS YEAR, SO I AM FONDLY REMEMBERING. FORGIVE ME.

Terraza Catedral

Reviewed By cavzmg - Bogota, Colombia

Located next to the zocalo behind the cathedral, on the rooftop of a hostel, this place is great for enjoying a drink, snack, music and wonderful view of the cathedral. Mexicans go there to get ready for partying, and it serves the purpose
