Great staff but average service
Reviewed By Expat-PassportSo I recently visited this hotel and stayed there for 5 nights. The staff is really good however I felt the service of the hotel was average. Like the food options were limited, the buffets were not great. They do not have all day dinning so if you have kids and they get hungry then can be a problem. The location and view of the hotel is good. You can get quite a few taxis from the outside of the hotel to Patong and it takes only 10 mins by taxi and around 20 mins walk to the Patong street. They have a great pool and pool bar. They managed to extend my checkout time as well as my flight was late in the night. Overall the experience was ok but I think they have a little work to do on their F&B section.

From the moment u arrive to the moment you leave they really make you feel welcome. Thanks to Pin, Pop, Golf, Pond, Yaya and Jaed from being so friendly and going above and beyond. Location of hotel is perfect and rooms were extremely nice and clean. 100% recommend this stay.

We went around looking and comparing hotels who arranged beach weddings. The first time we went in to look at the venue at Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort, we really liked it and it seemed like the ideal place. After we went in to have a conversation about the prices, it felt like we wouldn’t be able to afford it and won’t be able to arrange our wedding there. So arranging our wedding there was out of the picture, and we didn’t think about it, as it seemed impossible. But luckily after a couple of weeks we got to have a chat with Khun Nuch, to which she told us about the possibility of us being able to arrange our wedding there. After which it felt like there were a lot of things which might be possible for us. We were really impressed by her hospitality, as she was trying to help us with a lot of the things. It felt like we could trust her. We could contact her at all times about our queries and she would always be there to clear them. To which we are really thankful to her as she was there for us from the beginning till the end. We are very thankful for her services. After we signed the contract, we were introduced to Khun Ging, she was also very cooperative with every single part of the wedding, which made it even better than we anticipated. We are really thankful towards her as well, as she was there till the very last moment for us. We are really glad that we got to get together one more time after the wedding to have a chat about the event and have a feedback about it. It felt like we were recalling the whole event from the first day when we started planning about it till the very last day, which felt like she was actually really helpful and supportive towards us. During the conversation afterwards we could really feel that Khun Ging was genuinely happy that our wedding was a success and went as smoothly as we planned. Once again we appreciate it a lot. Another person that we want to thank is Chef Pok. Thank you for adjusting the menu according to our preference. Thank you for the kind gesture of presenting us with a roti when we were stressing out about the event, that sweet gesture really boosted up the aura. During the wedding day, we understood that you were probably stressed out due to the rain and also because we decided not to switch to plan b and stick with the original plan of arranging it on the beach, we are very grateful that you didn’t lose hope and gave your best to make the wedding as perfect as possible. Lastly we would like to thank everyone in the management team who gave their best to make our wedding perfect. The outcome was way better than we expected. It was even better than what we had dreamt of. It was the ideal wedding. We will definitely be back to stay at Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort as it has now become a place close to our heart. She could not do enough to assist us and make our stay more enjoyable, going above and beyond what was expected, a credit to the Business. Although on a business trip this time, I will certainly be looking to return for vacation with my family.

Reviewed By HarshadCChecked in yesterday and qe are staying here right now. Very disappointed with the stay. The rooms are old and have issues. The toilets have drainage issue and there is water clogging in the shower area. The WC do not have water jets. Off the 5 rooms booked, only 1 has a jet. The property is fine and location great but the reception staff was unhelpful. At 10.45pm last night they did not give us water as they had closed the room service for the day. This ting info was never shared. The kids in the group are not supposed to ask even for water post 10.30pm. The housekeeping staff was rude and said they were busy and could not come later for servicing. Did not expect such bad service from a reputed property. Staff at restaurant are however very good. No wifi in our wing...have come out near restaurant to post this.

Dated property, poor upkeep and horrible service
Reviewed By aanchal81I visit Thailand with my family 1-2 times every year and always choose to stay at centara. It’s been my all time favourite property in Phuket. However, I definitely won’t be returning to Centara again. Been less than 4 hours since we checked in and I regret booking this hotel. The property is in serious need of renovation. The rooms are dated and upkeep is very poor. Even though they upgraded us to a higher category room, it’s highly disappointing. Termites, bugs, cobwebs and a dirty bathtub are just a few of the things that welcomed us. To top it all, the service is horrible. Perhaps bcoz they are short staffed. The housekeeping was very poor and bathrooms weren’t stocked with face towels or hand towels. Just 2 bath towels for a family of 3. After requesting for a thorough cleaning of the room and extra towels, still missing hand towels. To top it all, ever since we’ve checked in… we can’t reach the hotel staff. Needed extra towels in the room and a buggy to go to the reception but no one is answering the phones. We’ve tried reaching the concierge, housekeeping, in room dining, reception…. ANYONE who will answer our calls but to no avail. Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE. Do NOT recommend.

Wonderful stay at The Racha
Reviewed By annsophiet2016We have just returned after having spent a week on The Racha. Our little family of three incl. a baby (8 months) have had a wonderful experience visiting the hotel/island. The hotel staff (especially Tammy) is great and attentive, the surroundings are fantastic and beautiful and the villas (we stayed at a Deluxe Villa) where big w. a great bathroom and both an indoor and outdoor shower. We were a bit worried about travelling in May (rainy season) but we had 5 days in a row with sunny and warm(!!) weather which we spent by the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the beautiful blue sea. The beach is great, the water is crystal clear - and we experienced NO day visitors (as other mentioned) because the boats arrive at another bay in May due to many waves and currents on the beach. This was really nice. The hotel was not overrun with guests - low season - and we practically had the pool and beach to ourselves. The restaurant is great (we only ate Thai food, so I don’t know about the international dishes) - overpriced compared to smaller restaurants, but we expected this. Everyone was so nice to our baby girl and wanted to help us relax as much as possible. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and plan to go back again someday!

Reviewed By 190753RmsBrilliant locaation with private beach. The rooms are extra large with seating area and balcony. The staff were all friendly and helpful particularly Issara, Front Office Manager and her colleague Sorraya, nothing was to much trouble.
