Reviewed By orgateamThe system is probably quite nice in the high season, but immediately unusable afterwards. No animation, everything is noisily put together and packed away. The supermarket only had a few cans left and the one nearby, like all shops, was closed. Two people have to pay € 50 per week for a club card that does not include any services. 10, - € cleaning and 30 € for 2 days lounger on the beach. An impudence. Wellness area is still being built, the complex is only about 10 years old, so you can't expect that. After the main season, the facility should close immediately, that would be the best for everyone.

Worst food experience during Italy trip
Reviewed By 462ybOn the road there’s a sign saying: ‘restaurant, trattoria, pizzeria’. This is not true. When we asked for a table they hesitated and gave us one. After he seated us we heard the waiter yelling at the chef in Italian ‘there’s another two....’ on a not very welcoming way. For the food we had choice of 2 types of pasta (primi) and 2 types of fish as a secondi. For the wine there was a choice of red or White House wine. No wine list while we saw a a wine fridge / display with many different wines. The waiter told us the house wines were local wines, which they weren’t. They were just cheap wines from a large wine distributor in Italy. They charged us €20 for a bottle. While our dinner was served we heard another table complaining about the bill they received (they don’t tell prices when they tell what limited choice there is). The food itself was far from special (this is an understatement!) and the service terrible. The price is far to high (there were 3 of 5 tables complaining). We spent 4 weeks traveling though Italy/Puglia but this was by far our worst food experience. So my advice: don’t go here for dinner!!

Reviewed By bongmango68We really liked our brief stay with Hotel Leon.They checked us in without difficulty after a tiring trip from Naples by train and bus.Hotel facilities are excellent, very clean surroundings and rooms are immaculately clean. Manager arranged for us to get a shuttle to go to the shrine and back.We also booked for dinner which turned out to be very good!They went all out to make our stay there very pleasant. We will always recommend their Hotel for our friends when they come.

Reviewed By dam_mar1This time I was disappointed ,, It’s a beautiful location , lovely ample swimming pools , lovely beach front , even the Hotel staff is nice , courteous , and available .. the animation was superb , the young man that sang every night and kept us entertained by the bar was superb ( even if after a few nights it gets repetitive ) , but the thing that disappointed me was the food and the rooms ,, for that price you expect a lot more than “ habitat type of furniture “ ,, the rooms look TIRED , the bath/shower inadeguate .. not coffe making facilities in the room , so , it’s 5 star hotel prices , but you get 3 star type luxury ,, I been there many times before , when there was a proper correlation between price and accommodation ,, but not this time ,, as for the restaurant , due to Covid there was no additional buffet , therefore we had to make do with what was offered ,, and again , for the price ( 40/50 euros per head ) , the portions were very VERY SMALL ,and if the wife agrees ( we are not huge eaters ) than we know it’s not exaggeration, ,, in the past you could add the buffet side of things , and fill yourself up , but this time all we could ask for was bread bread bread IF WE WERE LUCKY TO CATCH THE WAITER ,..the pasta course was nothing more than testers ,the quality of the food was Very average ,,..,, the SERVICE in the restaurant was also poor , so they wear these dated “ black tie “ that is supposed to represent glamour , but the staff were not attentive , in fact it was very hard to get their attention ,, WE WERE VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED,,,

Reviewed By Marjet BThe hotel has ample pleasantly decorated rooms with ample bathroom. An excellent breakfast is served with a very panoramic view of the surrounding area. Staff is competent and friendly and offer the necessary information without being asked. Guests may use the spa in a nearby hotel but this proved to be costly: 25 euros per person.

Breakfast was average nothing special for me but I must admit the croissants were nice and fresh.. delicious. The staff members is super friendly, polite and helpful. I would have given 5 star if I had a key to get in to my room instead of asking the receptionist every time to open it for me, this was annoying.

The Hotel D'Amato is situated only a few steps from the sea with a very suggestive view on the little town of Peschici, which is about 1km away. Our hotel offers the highest standards you can find in this category. The large restaurant is in a comfortably fresh area, fine and elegantly furnished. The beach with its fine and golden sand, only a few metres away, will not make you miss anything.

Staff is friendly and attentive. Activities for children and many amenities (on site spa). Shuttle service to local train station. Hotel is kept immaculate. Pino shuttle driver is very helpful too. Nice to see some of the same staff still there.
