Zonguldak is a city and the capital of Zonguldak Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It was established in 1849 as a port town for the nearby coal mines in Ereğli and the coal trade remains its main economic activity. Pide is similar to pizza, however, most would prefer it over pizza after you get the taste of it, especially in good bakeries, like this one. this restaurant have been at the same spot for many years. It may be overcrowded sometimes. The pides are usually very good, but the quality may decrease if the place is overcrowded. Traditionally pides with ground beef and small pieces of meat can be ordered with cheese over it. Ground beef and cheese only pides can be ordered with extra egg.
Ayran, a traditional Turkish drink, classically made with mixing yogurt with water can be consumed as a good choice. Pop and cola also goes well.
I am not very sure, but the pide in the picture should be about 350 - 450 Calories, and it is 1 portion. 1.5 portions can be ordered. (half portions may not be welcomed)
While 1 portion is good enough, if you are not living in Ereğli, and not planning to be here again for a while, go for 1.5 portions.. Who knows, may be you would not have a chance to come back again? :)
I hope this restaurant keeps its quality along with its reasonable prices.

Yemekleri güzel, temiz ve herşey tazeydi. Ekmekleri ve salatası da güzeldi. Ben mantar soslu tavuk yedim ve çok beğendim. Çayı da güzeldi. Yemek için ya da çay tatlı için gidilip vakit geçirilebilecek mekan.

Esnaf lokantası gibi ama lezzet gerçekten güzel. Buraya taş kebap için gitmelisiniz. Fotoğraftaki lezzete bakar mısınız? Fiyat inanılmaz..Bu lezzet 15 TL idi. Çok beğendim.

I love this place. So Turkish, so local with the real amateur spirit. You must try kalkan, mezgit, hamsi, turşu kavurma, with the lovely Turkish Rakı. You should go with a locals.

Kahvalti icin dusunmeyin. Klasik 2 kisilik serpme bir kahvalti icin 1 kahve dahil 62 TL fiyat odedik. Taş yerinde ağirdir ama bu taşra için çok çok fazladir. Bir Ankara, bir İstanbul değil ki ve o kadar zengin bir kahvalti da değil. Kesinlikle uğramam kahvalti için. Nokta!

ilk önce rengârenk dekoruyla sizi içine çeker. İlk girdiğinizde secret garden tarzında mı diye düşündüren Biyer in sahipleri, tam da hayallerimizdeki mekânı ılıksu sahil yolu üzerinde tasarlamış. Bazı mekânlar vardır, oldukça görünür bir mevkidedir. Fakat çok iyi saklanırlar. İşte o mekânlardan bi’yer restaurant.Lezzetli yemeklerle dolu bir yer olan mekân, gelen misafirlerine kendi yapımları ekmek ve gözleme çeşitlerin de sunuyorlar.Samimiyet ve rahatlığı çağrıştıran konseptiyle Sıcacık bir restaurant burası.Hafta sonları brunch yapmayı sevenler için kahvaltı saatleride oldukça uzun. Kalabalık şehirden uzak “chill out” mekânı olma özelliğine de sahip. Bahçe tanımının tam karşılığını veren arka bahçesi insanı evindeymiş gibi rahat hissettiriyor. Farklı lezzetler bulabileceğiniz biyer restaurantı diğerlerinden ayrılan yönü sizi dış dünyadan tamamen koparan bahçesi.
