We went to Zomba Plateau and finished out day out with a meal at Casa Rossa. The restaurant is nice and food was tasty. As far as the service, it took a bit too long for our food to be served, especially for the children considering that the restaurant was not full. As a note of caution, the restaurant has a dog (maybe more than one); being a dog lover myself I like have them around, however; I was a bit worry when the dog snapped at my son. If you visit the place keep the kids away from the dogs.

I've had the food at Annie's Lodge in Blantyre and it was really good. Unfortunately here the food was just not impressive. I don't even think it was what I ordered. It was supposed to be a chicken stir fry. It ended up being a piece of fried chicken and some spaghetti. And it wasn't very good.

It is located in the same building as Steers. Walk along the right side of the building and climb up the stairs. It's located in a small room at the top of the steps. Not easily accessible if you have a physical disability. Their chocolate and vanilla cakes were tasty.

We were not so fortunate as to stay at the inn, though we would love to come back. We had a delicious lunch with an unequaled view over the valley from the restaurant's perch atop a mountain. The Gardens lured me in after the meal and made me wish we could have stayed longer.
