Zhenjiang, formerly romanized as Chenkiang, is a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, China. It lies on the southern bank of the Yangtze River near its intersection with the Grand Canal. It is opposite Yangzhou (to its north) and between Nanjing (to its west) and Changzhou (to its east). Zhenjiang was formerly the provincial capital of Jiangsu and remains as an important transportation hub.

Very good and varied menu. English with pictures also. Excellent, attentive, staff who don't speak English but are patient and understanding. I orders a variety of dishes. All were excellent. Especially the bbq meat platter - included pork, duck and chicken. Dick with spicy salt was crunchy and spicy - not much meat but very well done. Pork buns were great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys Chinese food. :-)

Like the neighboring city of Yangzhou, Zhenjiang is equally famous for its 'morning tea', as locals put it, featured breakfast. Not just tea, but a variety of snacks are available for your choice. The 'must try' list should at least include tangbao, steamed bun with stuffings of pork meat (and crab if you order them) and soup. Not soup with the bun, but WITHIN the bun. Very delicious, though a bit oily. Yanchun is THE chain restaurants that local prefer to have their breakfast, as well as bring their guests. The Renmin Road Yanchun is the oldest one, but service is terrible. Dashikou Yanchun's OK.

Portions were huge but expected as it is very pricey.
Food quality was not bad, definitely one of the better standards of Western dining in this town.
Service standards were subpar; our food came up faster than we could eat so they got cold on the table.
It's not so much a coffee place as much as it's a restaurant and bar which also happens to serve coffee.

We were staying in the Xijin Ferry area for two weeks and tried many of the restaurants. We enjoyed this one and it seemed less touristy, a bit more authentic. The food was good and the atmosphere nice. The language barrier wasn't a problem. We used a translation app when needed. I enjoyed the vegetable dishes we had more than the meat and seafood plates, but the flavors of all of the dishes were very good.

We came here looking forward to the in house pizza as we went to another Bonchic outlet for food and were very impressed with the standard. Unfortunately this place changes their service and only do alcoholic drinks at night. At most, they can fry up bar snacks but you won't be able to get a square meal here.
Cocktails were masterfully blended and most of the beers were Belgian. Not bad for a night out; shame they don't serve their in-house pizzas to go with the drinks, which are really wonderful.
