We namen het viergangenmenu à 39 Euro.Alle gerechten zijn mooi gepresenteerd op het bord en zijn lekker.Maar zowel het tussengerecht als het hoofdgerecht waren niet warm meer toen ze opgediend werden. Er was blijkbaar die avond een probleem in de keuken (iets laten aanbranden?) want het tussengerecht bleef ongewoon lang weg.Een kok die vernieuwend kookt, maar misschien het nodige gerief mist om zijn gerechten warm te kunnen opdienen?Blijven doorgaan!

Went there with the family. Staff was very helpful and allowed my son to choose a dish from the lunch-menu even though it was 8 o'clock! We had the Seafood-platter which was really delicious! The food is good, service is great and exceptionally friendly! I will be back soon!

Self service restaurant lacking in atmosphere and charm only saved by fantastic views and ease of parking. Its such a shame that a little effort isn't made to make guests feel welcome as outside of peak season (May) it seemed pretty empty and it closed at 9.30. Food was OK nice fresh self service salad bar. Only one type of red or white wine available but coffee was good. I would try the outside terrace in warm weather as the setting is wonderful.

This place serves a good range of fish and seafood dishes, I had the lobster special at 34euros it was super full of flavour, my husband the mixed fish platter both dishes well cooked and presented. Staff great

The menu is not too extensive, but what they cook, they cook well. Fresh fish is fresh, and prepared in such a way that you taste the fish and not just the sauces. Serviced with fries, baked potatoes, salad. Good wine selection tops it off. Friendly good service. Well recommended when you're around Bruinisse!

Had a lovely dinner at Paviljoen Meerzicht. The restaurant has a spectacular view on the Grevelingenmeer. When weather permits you can enjoy eating or drinking outside on the beautiful terrace.Staff is friendly, but could be trained better. For instance they forgot to bring an extra menu and I had to pour my own prosecco from the bottle.Prices are very reasonable: the catch of the day (which was salmon) costs 15 euro. My sea bass was about 20 euro. The fish was really fresh and perfectly cooked. I would have loved some more vegetables on my plate though.We couldn't resist ordering dessert. I really loved the absolutely fabulous apfelstrüdel! Not a Dutch specialty, but great nonetheless! With the current owners, Vluchthaven has changed from a luxury restaurant to a fairly simple brasserie in which you sit on second- or third-hand furniture. Fish is the mainstay of the cuisine which otherwise has Mediterranean traits.The food was lovely otherwise, and their white house wine quite good. On the Thursday that we visited, the restaurant was pretty understaffed with only one waiter for some 20-25 clients, but his friendliness compensated our waiting time. Prices, however, were quite high; we spent some 50-60 euros for a 3-course dinner.

A little 20â by foot from the marina where we stayed. very friendly and skilled staff... We took the menu( 3 dishes) . Soooo tasty and light, The Sea Aster ( lamsoor) was a discovery, very tasty without being exaggerated... very good combination with the fish....Very nice and quite restaurant in the village ...music had a nice soft volume, the seats comfortable...A place to enjoy and recommand :-)

Delicious Seafood and nice waitresses who helped with the Dutch only menu. We shared the Delta Menu with a sampling of three fish from the North Sea ... the fish was delicious, the Frites perfect, the salad was very tasty and the homemade remoulade sauce was yummy! I highly recommend a lunch or dinner at Bru 17 in Bruinisse. Just be warned - besides the Dutch only menu - they are closed on Mondays.
