We were very surprised when we picked up pizza from this place. The pizzas were baked in a stone oven and the quality was premium. Nice, thin crust and very good taste. Good selection, even white pizzas. Can recommend the one with bresaola. The place looks great, but not so cozy tho. Not open for lunch, which is a pity.

It's wonderful to find little hidden gems when traveling. Such was the case with Franciso Sandwiches and Salatbar on quiet little Stengade (#80)... a few blocks from the train station. Here, the very pleasant owner prepared a nice variety of food, including middle eastern sandwiches and pitas, as well as individual size pizzas. The food was simple and VERY tasty. My 9-year old son loved his pizza and my sandwich with mildly spiced chicken was excellent. The final nice surprise was that the prices were quite reasonable for Denmark, especially given that this is a town that gets a lot of tourists. Take a few steps off the main drag and get yourself a nice quality, casual meal at a good price by heading to Francisco. It doesn't look special from the outside, but step inside and enjoy!

This little shop has the best oliveoil, icecream and other goodies, many of the items are imported from Italy. The very young staff often do not have the answers to questions about the selections, but go and browse, the city should have more unique shops like this.

Went here for Sunday dinner since most other places were closed or didn't have any vegetarian options. It's relaxing because it's off the Main Street, so go here if you can sit outdoors (the indoors are unpleasant). As for the food- like any other grills and most Italian places. Cheaper and you get what you expect. Wouldn't recommend it nor not-recommend it either.

The first restaurant we had chosen for dinner was unfortunately all booked up (on a Thursday night!), so we considered ourselves lucky to have gotten the last available (but street-side) table at this quite charming Italian bistro which was a good 20 minutesâ walk away from our hotel.Bundled up against the chill of the wind coming from the Oresund, we were âproppedâ up by hearty servings of standard Italian fare: a classic beef carpaccio, penne amatriciana, steaming lasagne â all washed down with a spritz nero cocktail and Sicilian wine. Our server was a very charming Italian chap.During such a chilly and windy evening, what better comfort food and drink can one avail of?

We stumbled across this lovely Croatian tapas in Helsingor completely by accident. Lucky lucky us.We sat outside as it was 20+ degrees today but inside looks very nice.They have a good menu with tapas but also meat and fish dishes which all looked great. Out tapas choice for two people was very very tasty.We had a fantastic rose to go with the tapas and we will definitely be back, even with the ferry trip

We ate here for a friends birthday. The food was absolutely great and well presented. The service was friendly and interior of the restaurant was lovely. Itâs a great spot for a nice meal with friends or romantic meal. The prices are reasonable and thereâs a lot to choose from for all diets. When weâre back in Helsingør, weâll be eating here again!
