We both had fish curry and it was delicious,washed down with a bottle of White House wine.It could not have been more perfect for our last night in Nungwi.Sat on the beach by candle light listening to the sea.The staff were very pleasant and efficient and the price was so cheap.

My mother, grandmother and I visited today and had a great time. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, the food is amazing and the same goes for the location/view. We hope to be in Nungwi and come again soon. Warm regards, Jenny & Ennio

We went to this restaurant 3 times and each time we had really nice food and service. The fish is fresh, tasty and well cooked and all the ingredients are locals, showing that is an ethic business. We really appreciate that they donât use too many plastic bottles encouraging the clients to get the jar of water to reduce plastic pollution. Everything is home made, even the pasta, which is amazing. We stayed at the hotel next to it so for us was perfect but the nice thing is that we could see many many people from other hotels in the area coming to have dinner at the Bistrò! The owners Salvatore and Roberta take care of every little thing and they make sure that every details is perfect. The location is elegant and modern with a touch of Zanzibar style. The service is friendly and fast (something difficult to find in Zanzibar)! Prices are really good especially for quality of the food and location. We had such a great time and great food! Your words are so sweet like you, dear francy.....We try to do our best every day to give a good service to the guests and we are so happy to host guests from all the hotels of Kendwa and also from other cities. Quality of the food, cleaning and service are our focus point , we are so proud you noticed and mentioned, as also the use of jag of glass instead the plastic bottle of water.....when guests are satisfied we are more than happy!!!!!!! We have been here both for breakfast and dinner and we were extremely satisfied. Breakfast has a nice menu selection and fresh juices. Dinner offers tapas menu which has great choice of delicious seafood and tropical cocktails. You also have a DJ playing some nice music in the evening which creates a good vibe. Definitely a place to visit even if you don't stay at Melia hotel.

We arrived at Gerry's at 11pm with no hostel or hotel for the night (having had a bad experience at the one we'd booked and having to leave it). The staff at Gerry's tried ringing all the hotels they knew to find an available room for us. Then when that didn't work they walked round to various hostels to knock on doors for us. Then kept us in the bar, telling us not to worry they'd find us a place, giving us a free shot to make us feel better and continue to try and find a place for us. Eventually, they found us a room and escorted us there. The next morning when we came past they were again checking with us to make sure it was all ok and we'd slept nicely. Super lovely people with a beautiful view and a very chilled vibe.Hi Travelandtrails.Thank you so much for taking the time to review our bar here and for your kind words. We stayed at the Z Hotel for a couple of days and visited the Saruche almost every day. We tried different dishes and have to say that all various courses were delishes. Very creative in itâs variety and everything of top quality. The service was always attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody who wants to have tasty meal and a beautiful evening at the Ende of the day. Further, if you get the chance to get a table directly at the beach, that would complete a perfect visit.

Absolutely amazing food. The ceviche was probably the best I had outside Central America. The service was quick, efficient and very friendly.It is a bit dark so you donât really see what you are eating, but we the tastes were outstanding.Highly recommendable!

Great service and food We stayed at the Hilton and so had a choice of the buffet and the fisherman grill. We ate here multiple times and had a great experience . The staff are attentive and very welcoming . The food is served promptly unlike some restaurants nearby where the wait can be very long. Great variety in food - Indian , local , seafood etc however the manager mentioned that there may be some further expansion to the menu to include some more classic favourites. He even offered to make us dishes not on the menu - an example of the great service that is on offer hereDrinks are reasonably priced as is the overall menu . It is marginally More expensive than nearby local restaurants however the comfort , cleanliness and service is superior so I was happy to pay the little extra in price .Comfortably 4 or 5 stars and would recommend Dear Jaglatne,Thank you indeed for taking the time to review your dining experience at Fisherman's Seafood & Grill.
