Reviewed By waynebY9920YTFantastic resort. Venet is located above the town of Zams. At the base is the reception desk and ski rental equipment office. Once checked in you can place your luggage into a large bin which the staff then transports up to he hotel. The only where there is by cable car. The rooms are very basic, but spacious and very clean with in room facilities. Dinner and breakfast are provided as part of you hotel price. I can't say enough about the food and staff who catered to our every need and were especially accommodating to the two grandkids traveling with us. Once on top you can literally ski just about from your room. At the time of our stay only 3 of the 20 runs were open but we still had a great time. I can't leave out the beautiful 360 degree views from atop of this special place.

Reviewed By hanns bexcellent service and an interesting menu. We had a family reunion there and everybody enjoyed their meal, also one had to make difficult decisions. Lovely views down the Inntal and a nice outside area.

Reviewed By Felix RBefore discussing the hotel itself I want to mention that the direct area is just not really nice. Zams is a normal city with not much to explore, a Highway and train-tracks run through the close valleys, so alone from that fact I wouldn't recommend anything other then a one day stay. Now concerning the hotel. The staff is very friendly, however I had to wait at the reception several times, as it was not occupied most of the time. The Building is not in a really good state. That counts for rooms, dining hall and swimming pool. That could have been coincidence, but when I visited the hotel some of the guests behaved really unpleasant. However the electric bicycles which can be rented are in a really good state and I would definitely recommend them.

Reviewed By Florian187My girlfriend and I stayed at this hut for one night when we hiked the E5 in August 2016. Unfortunately, we were a bit lost in the Zamser Gorge and the descent was much slower than planned. As a result, we have been only about 19 o'clock in the valley, where we had then called the pick-up service from the Zamser ski hut. Here we were already the first time extremely badly shouted at why we have not called earlier, we justified with the fact that there was no cell phone connection. We were then picked up in a small VW bus by a driver with only one arm (which we are very sorry). This driver was also completely aggressive and that he has then also accordingly on the way up the mountain left out. He is like a completely crazy chased up the mountain over switchbacks and then besides switch with one arm and steer, unfortunately yes not possible at the same time, which was extremely dangerous because it is partly tens of meters down into the abyss. So more irresponsible it hardly goes. At the hut then the next candidate called "hut host". I have in my whole life yet met no more unfriendly and vicious people like this guy. If you can't interact with people adequately because you might have sociopathic traits, then please look for another job. We were yelled at in front of all the other guests and then were only lucky to get some food (more was slapped on the table than served). I am only giving the rating now as I just came across the accommodation by chance. The reviews from other guests reflect exactly the same experiences that we also had to make. So I guess nothing has changed there. Therefore, I can only put it to everyone warmest to make a big bow around this hut, even if it is a pity about other staff which was really nice.

Great Asian buffet with a wide selection of food

Great option for food lovers that want everything at the same time and for childish kids that's picky with the food, because this place got everything from chicken wings to ice cream included in the buffet. Very reasonable price as well.

No Greeting for weary travellers!
Reviewed By lakelandramblersWe arrived after a 9 hour 25k walk to find the hotel empty and nobody at reception! We eventually managed to contact somebody by telephone who provided us with the key to our room. The room was beautiful and very clean and the breakfast was fabulous. So after the not so good start it ended happily.

Auch wenn wir über die letzten Höhenmeter des Tages hoch zur Unterkunft ziemlich geflucht haben, hat sich die Auffahrt doch wirklich gelohnt. Wir haben ein normales Doppelzimmer gebucht gehabt. Es gibt auch noch deutlich größere Appartements. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert, modern eingerichtet, super bequemes Bett. Recht kleines, aber sehr sauberes Bad mit großer Dusche. Das Personal überragend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühl sich wirklich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Abendessen auf der Terasse mit phänomenalem Blick ins Tal und auf die umliegenden Berge. Das Abendessen an sich war ebenfalls überragend. Beim Frühstück am nächsten Morgen hat’s auch an nichts gefehlt.

Pihalla tilaa hyvin kahdelle autolle. Voisin tulla uudestaan. Pyyhkeet sai pyytämällä. Maksu tapahtui käteisellä paikanpäällä. Kuvauksesta sai käsityksen että kohteessa on kaksi makuuhuonetta, mutta todellisuudessa vain yksi. Toinen "sänky" oli levitettävä vuodesohva keittiössä. Ei leivänpahdinta, eikä mikroa. WiFi yhteys epävakaa. Zams on Idyllinen kylä Landekin vieressä. Venetbahn-hiihtohissi lähtee kylästä, kylässä kaikki tarpeellinen. Venet-hiihtoalue on aivan mahtava pikkukeskus. Suosittelen sitä lämpimästi kaiken tasoisille laskijoille. Tänne kannnatta suunnata eritoten puuteria metsästämään. Zamsista ajaa alle tunnissa lukuisiin kohteisiin Alpeilla, Esim. Sölden, Pitztal, Serfaus, St Anton, Ischgl, jne.
