Lastovo is a beautiful island with great landscape and fantastic clean sea. In Skrivena luka, where many mariners stop and rest or grab a lunch, is nicely placed restaraunt on the beach with a great view on the bay. Tables are wooden as are chairs...MoreDear, thank you for your kind review

We booked an apartment and stayed there for 5 wonderfull days, we dined at the Augusta restaurant every night and the food was delicious. Their home made musaka is fabolous and the fish was always fresh from the sea, the ambient is very cosy, definately worth the visit

Located in with its own pier with amazing view of the bay, especially in sunset.
Perfect place to stay for a night when sailing in Croatia .
Delicious grilled fish and seafood combined with their own local wine production.

To be short:
1. Great view
2. Reasonable price level
3.Pizza is good, although ordering big pizza expect small size (why ???)
4. Octopus salad is good. The same with grilled calamari. Really ok.
5. Fried calamari - not ok. Small portion of not so fresh stuff (or fried too long). Ordered several times, less and less on my plate and surpisingly I discovered one day, they raised the price of this dish (quality and quantity remained the same) !
6. Free sweet snacks as a dessert.
7. Staff is kind and nice.

It is easy to make the best food good food, but I think I managed to the tavern FUMARI in Lastovo save delicacies of fruit and vegetables from our fields. You were on Lastovo and you are not arrived to the tavern Fumari, then ... You are not see Lastovo ...... I invite you to not use a copy already enjoy the originality ... My products and my kitchen. Tavern fumarate prepare simple meals of vegetables and fruits from their own fields. And then when you ask me what I'm doing when not in season ..... preparing for next season, should make wine, should make oil, brandy, prepare all products Lastovo in the bottle, to work on the land and plant them all kinds of vegetables that we need to preparing meals for you when you sit in a tavern Fumari. A lot of work ... but it's my choice. I invite you to enjoy my house in the tavern Fumari.

We discovered this place while walking around & exploring the old town of Lastovo. Set in a small park in front of the old church, it gave us some respite from the hot August sun. The chilled house white wine was just what we needed & the food that closely followed was amazingly fresh. We were told that everything that is served at Fumari is made with local products. You could certainly taste the difference.

Fumari is sort of restaurant named "Konoba". In Croatian language that means something as tavern or some place where you can eat local, simple dishes for normal price. You can't expect well dressed waiters, luxury tables etc. but the food is usually fine and plenty. Fumari is bad combination of restaurant prices and casual style typical for tavern waiters.
You can't order juice, just their own mixture of iced water with frozen berries(?) which costs enormously, open table wine which stayed whole day without refrigerator. After that initial experience and the look at price list we decided to skip dinner that night.

We had dinner here during May when very few other restaurants on Lastovo were open. The view out over the bay is stunning and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. They fired up the grill just for us and the food was fantastic and fresh. Would definitely visit again if back on Lastovo.

The local food is prepared in a unique traditional way as it was prepared in ancient times - "peka".
Vine, olive oil, rakija, meat from own organic production.
The unique ambience of rural household, friendly staff and hospitality you will not find in yachting restaurants in marines nearby.
Lastovo in its full glory - unspoiled, delicious, simple and coasy...
Hard to describe, you have to try it!!!

We ate here twice in a three night stay. Great pizza, local basic dishes, fantastic friendly staff. Do come early or make a reservation as it does fill up. They have a fantastic home made limoncello!

Love this place. From the freshest seafood to the service and the atmosphere. The big display of seafood was like a work of art. You should order fresh seafood platter or lobster. So beautiful and fantastic that you don't want to stop. The wine was so awesome and went perfect with all the dishes we ordered. The service was so nice. We were warmly treated. A MUST place if you're in Lastovo.
Berth for yacht is right in front of the restaurant.
