Yoshkar-Ola (Russian: Йошка́р-Ола́; Mari: Йошкар-Ола) is the capital city of the Mari El Republic, Russia. Its population is about a quarter million. Yoshkar-Ola means red city in Mari and was formerly known as Tsaryovokokshaysk (Царёвококшайск) before 1919, as Krasnokokshaysk (Краснококшайск) between 1919 and 1927 (both after the Malaya Kokshaga River, which runs through the city) and Charla (Чарла) (old Mari). Yoshkar-Ola was established as a military fortress in 1584, following the Russian conquest of the Mari region.

This is a great place with the atmospheric interior of an old good pub. There you can find a great choice of meals, beer and desserts. There you can meet with your friends to spend a great time together watching live sport events or listening to a live band. This place has a small beer shop with uncooked food beside of the restaurant. I should suggest to try a delicious borshch.

Были тут с племянниками, захотелось попробовать марийские блины коман-мелна. Особенно понравились картофельные и с творогом. Подкогыльо тоже попробовали, сытные такие жареные пельменищщи ))). Встречают очень радушно, как-то по-домашнему. Все мило, недорого, вкусно и довольно быстро. Звучит негромкая национальная музыка, добавляет колорита.
Очень понравилось, хочется заходить еще.
От центра чуть в стороне, от Парка идти пешком минут 15.

In 2008 when I first visited Yoshkar-Ola my wife took me for pizza here. The thin cust, wood oven cooked pizza was delicious to say the least. With many different toppings and salads too it was a great Italian pizza to say nothing else better. Home away from home :)

My wife Iren and I visited Kamelot on Valentines Day 2015. We both had Caesar salads with king Shrimp and Shashlik, one of my faves. Both were impeccably prepared and served. I will certainly visit here again on Man's Day and possibly Women's Day. The meal for 2 cost less than $50 Cdn which was more than reasonable. Great atmosphere and service too. My compliments to the Chef and servers.

I'm an American living in Yoshkar-Ola and stumbled upon this restaurant while out for a stroll with my wife. I am a lover of Mexican food. The decorations are authentic and interesting just like the ones in Mexico and Texas. The Mexican food choices are small in comparison but will give you a good taste of Mexican cuisine. We were the only patrons in attendance at that time. The waiter was cordial and served us well. We had fajitas and salad which was done to perfection. Prices are normal for this city and we shall return for dinner sometime. I noticed they serve RibEye steak my favorite!

In 2008 when I was married in Yoshkar-Ola there was no McDonalds. When I returned in 2009 lowand behold a new McDonalds on the main street in Yoshkar-Ola. Everything on the menu was identical to Canada including a few extras like shrimp rolls which were superb to say the least. The staff are very helpful and it is a great place to take the family for lunch for very little money. They have a kids room there and often celebrate birthdays.

Для своего формата отличное заведение. Хороший выбор блюд, демократичные цены. Зимой ещё и глинтвейн неплохой подают!
НО, мне показалось слишком грязно на столах, в том смысле, что плохо вытирают после посетителей.

It is a lovely place with a nice atmosphere. I spent the last evening on the Terrace with my friends. I was charmed by these warm lights on ceilings. Even late at the evening we staid warm as the staff provided blankets for everyone. I ordered a great burger and I liked its juicy beef patty and potatoes on its side. I really enjoyed my evening there. I recommend to try my favorite sea-buckthorn tea with honey. It was a big surprise for me that this place is pets-friendly and they have a cat there. It feels like home.

Уютное местечко с намёком на «романтик». Площадь помещения маленькая, отсюда высокая плотность, т.е. лучше бронировать заранее, чтобы наверняка попасть сюда.
Как и большинство заведений города, имеет проблему с наличием заявленного в меню, увы.
