This restaurant has been famous for good small octopus dishes for a long time, as the located area itself used to be the heart of good small octopuses.
Now the area has been renovated to somewhat quirky theme-park style street, this restaurant remains with original owners and continues to serve fiOne dishes.
What I'd recommend here would be Nakji-Tangtangi - Raw Small Octopus Sashimi, as an appetizer if you could dare to try the still moving small octopus legs.
Also, you shouldn't miss Nakji-Horong - Small Octopus in a Skewer cooked with spicy sauce, which I'd consider the best dish here.
You can try Galnak-Tang - Octopus and Short-rib Beef Soup, if you're not full yet and would like a healthy, nearly clear broth soup.
Only problem here would be that it could get costly, especially if you get addicted to those great spicy Nakji-Horong.

병영 사는 친구가 맛집이 있다고 데려간곳인데 반찬 가짓수가 정말 어마 어마 합니다! 일인당 만원 안했던거 같은데 반찬 종류가 정말 많고 하나하나 다 맛있었어요! 메인요리인 돼지불고기는 더 말할필요도 없이 맛있구요^^ 추천합니다

토종닭정식을 시키면
닭똥집과 닭가슴살이 회로 나오고
닭껍질볶음과 양념닭갈비.닭백숙에 이어서
마지막으로 흑임자죽이 나온다.
적어도 세명은 모였을때 먹는걸 추천함.
더덕정식도 맛있음.

영산나루는 일단 분위기를 위해 가는 곳이다. 일제시대의 가옥과 2층의 고풍스러운 건물이 정원한가운데의 몇백년된 나무와 잘 어우러진다. 오너는 문화재인 근대가옥을 잘 가꾸고, 영산나루 자체가 까페나 식당보다 문화공간으로 만들고자 노력한 흔적이 엿보인다. 세대를 아울러 누구나 좋아할만한 공간이라고 생각한다. 영산포 홍어거리 근처에 있음

처음에 들어가면 테이블이 없는 모습에 조금 당황하지만
1인당 1만원에 푸짐하게 한 상차림 나오는 모습을 보면 너무좋아요^^

짱뚱어탕 전문집입니다. 목포, 영암 인근의 뻘에서 잡히는 짱뚱어를 곱게 갈아 된장을 풀어 끓인 짱뚱어탕과 옛모습 그대로 작은 방에서 삼삼오오 들어앉아 먹는 맛이 일품으로 추천합니다.

The first review led me to this restaurant during my visit in Jangheung. The 익힘비빔밥 that I ate was good and considering that the restaurant was quite busy means it is probably one of the better restaurants in town. However, compared to the food I had in other areas at the Southern Coast, the restaurant is OK and just that.
