We stumbled upon this great off the main road place because nothing was open on the 4th of July and we were hungry! There’s outdoor seating, plenty of parking, TVs at the Long bar and lots of indoor tables. (I loved the brick, wood, and high ceilings). There’s an extensive beer list and appetizers (the pretzel sticks were fantastic!) We had a very nice waiter and the best burgers and real homemade chips. My husband even tried the burger with peanut butter! Delicious!! There is also chicken on the menu...specials, karaoke, and other events on specified days—this is a restaurant:sports bar we highly recommend!

Sunset Bar & Grill

Sunset Bar & Grill is located on the north shore of beautiful Lake Koshkonong in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. We are a live music powerhouse in the area! Waterfront dining during the summer, Tiki Bar, boat docks. We are open 7 days a week and have daily food

Our first trip here for a meal. The burgers were recommended by a friend, and we were not disappointed. 1/2 pound burgers made to order. Several topping options. Excellent service. Good live music. Apparently they have live music frequently and outside during the summer with a beach bar. Worth the windy little road to get there!

We have been coming to the North Shore Inn for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Once again, great food, drinks and staff. Jane the bartender is one of the best! Mary keeps the dining room humming. Thanks for another great season! We'll be back in March.

Norm's Hideaway

My husband & I were out for a nice Sunday drive and we stopped at a couple of bars to check them out and decided to eat at Norm's. The place had 12 people including us and a band outside that no one was listening to. It was cool and windy. We had 1 cold beer & asked for a menu which she gave us. We were setting at the bar with a few others who were getting plowed and they informed us of this also because they were loud. Our menu sat there opened and ready to order till our beers were gone. Then all of a sudden the bar tender took the menu...end of story. No offer of another beer or food. The 2 bar tenders seemed more interested in 'cutting up' and having their own fun. We left and won't be back. If it were busy I could sorta see this happening but it wasn't. Too many good bar & grills who want your business to waste our time going back to Norm's. I gave it a poor rating because maybe the food is good, we'll never know.

Fat Boyz

Last night I arrived in Fort Atkinson late from Milwaukee after a flight from Phoenix via Minneapolis St Paul. Checked into my hotel and decided it was time for a beer and something to eat. I drove down Main Street saw Fat Boyz and remembered being there in the past and knew it to be a good neighborhood local bar / restaurant. So in I went. Sat at the end of the bar and was greeted by a cordial bartender and provided with a menu and told it was all you can eat wings night for $6. And so it went . . . The wings were available in hot or regular. I got half hot and half regular wings with bleu cheese dressing. They were perfect and hit the spot with a good draft beer. A perfect family neighborhood bar worth visiting for casual food or a great beer selection when in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

We were just out for a drive when we passes thru this town and we found this place. We are glad we stopped in. They have an amazing bar that overlooks the water. Pool table, dart boards, and so much more... They have a nice selection of craft beers on tap to choose from. We decided we were going to eat after reading through thier menu. Our server was very friendly. She explained the specials and some of her favorites. Our daughter had the Alfredo pasta kids meal which was very tasty. My wife had the steak sandwich which was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfect. Lastly I had a fresh berry salad that was wonderful. It had fresh apples, mandarin oranges, grapes, candied nuts with a raspberry dressing. Very nicely done. I would have given this place a 5 star review, but I felt that the prices were a bit high. We will be back again soon and if they can match or beat this visit I will bump it up to a 5 star!Cheers!

This place is within walking distance of local hotels. Customer service is minimal. We rarely saw our server other than when we ordered drinks and food. The food was decent but did not really impress me. It was okay to stop at if you are starving but I definitely would most likely not return.Hi WorldwideRover007,I'm sorry that you had a very Basic experience. Can you let me know what night you dined in with us? I'd love to get to know exactly why the service wasn't better that way I can improve for next time. I see that you ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, did you order anything else? I'd appreciate any feedback I can get to improve our service and quality of food. Thank you!

My husband and I were desperate for lunch, but as tourists in the Fort Atkinson area, we were struggling to find something. We then stumbled across this true gem!!! We had beef stew, ham and bean soup, the beer battered chicken fingers, and the beer battered fish sandwich. All the food was phenomenal, super unpretentious but perfectly executed. All of it tasted homemade, and was fresh. On top of the food being great, our waitress was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was lively, but not too loud and didn’t feel too bar-y in the afternoon. (My husband and I don’t drink and can sometimes feel slightly weird in a bar if it doesn’t have a dual sort of an atmosphere). We are from the Chicago area where good food definitely isn’t in short supply and we would be weekly regulars here if we lived any where near it!! It is a must visit if you are in town!
