I really like this place. I am in love with the steak chimichangas. And the margaritas are super yummy, especially during happy hour lol. The kids like this place as well. You get a ton of food, and for a family of four we usually spend around 50 bucks with a tip to feed all of us. We also all have left overs to bring home each time we eat here. We have been told by some of the locals not to go here, but I will tell you what, I have been here at least 20 times in the last year and every time I get great service and food. The restaurant is painted in lots of bright colors, so it is very happy and up beat. We will be back for sure.

We visited this fast food last year and really enjoyed it. We visited again this past week and did not enjoy it quite as much. It is quick and the food is fresh, it just seemed kind of messy and heavy this time around. We got the nachos this time and they did not give us enough chips. Not sure we will go back.

Based on price and quality, you would be much better off if you just went to a real Mexican restaurant. During a recent visit, my meal cost something like$8.00. The quality was fairly ordinary. For maybe a dollar or two more I could have gone to a real Mexican place. I guessing that a "real Mexican place", I'll get better food and more of it. I also find that Mexican restaurants are fairly fast. You rarely wait more that 10-15 minutes for your food. So, my recommendation is go eat at a "real Mexican place and skip Taco Johns.

It is listed in Yelp, but only miw on Trip Advisor. Recommended for its delicious margaritas (have the double), we were impressed with the guacamole appetizer made at the table with ingredients you pick. Usual and unusual choices. The seafood choices are spectacular. Nice staff. Highly recommend.

Very good Mexican food and great large Margaritas. Went here after UWO graduation and really enjoyed the food and Margaritas. I really loved the Shrimp fajita burrito! Everyone else really enjoyed their food. Waite staff is very friendly.

To us, an Oshkosh must. The thing to get is the El Grande which, true to its name, is a bit of everything served on not one but two plates. In past years I might have given Durango's a slightly higher rating but in recent visits of the last couple of years the food seems to have lost a little something.Despite that it's still among our top choices for Mexican food and always worth a visit when we're in town.

The food here is always good. The staff is always friendly. The booths and tables need updating. They have a reasonable, delcious lunch menu; and the chips and salsa are top notch!

WOW! Came to Oshkosh from Door County for business and decided to try Cozumel. The food was really fantastic. Very fresh, not smothered in tons of sauce and cheese and grease. Really tasty refried beans and guac. The shredded beef enchiladas had a LOT of beef in each one. The waiter was very good and service was quick. The prices were more than reasonable and they have a lunch menu! Wanted to try everything, so we will go back. Probably tomorrow for lunch!
