We went with a friend and i NEVER seen that BIG of a burger. I had a Caesar salad, Sweet potato fries GREAT GREAT Mocha drink. You have to go there at least once and i am sure you will go back. Taylor B was great help.

I had lunch here the other week. The sandwiches were ok but nothing special. The fries were a little overcooked and didn't have great flavor. The server was friending and attentive but there is no reason to say anything special about Slims. The decor is typical bar. An ok place to get a bite to eat but nothing great.

Our group of 7 dined here and had a pleasant experience. Our server was friendly and attentive. Drinks arrived quickly, followed soon afterward by our entrees. Most of us ordered burgers and all report the food was cooked as ordered. The flavor was great, and the fries were tasty too. Figure on about $10 for a burger. My wife and I had not been here before, but our local Milwaukee friends had been here before. We had a nice experience here.

We are a family of seven here to support my two grandkids in their fund raiser for their twirl company. We ordered Irish stew, Shepherds pie, corned beef and cabbage, a hamburger, and three Reuben sandwiches. Everything tasted great and service staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Came here twice while staying at the adjoining Best Western hotel and we were not disappointed. The nachos grande with chicken was huge and tasty. The burgers were tasty and filling, and BOGO on Monday just added to the appeal. Half priced appetizers during 3 - 6 and during major sporting games on tv make this a go to place.The place serves free popcorn. Not like the old Ground Round where peanut were served and shells all went on the floor, got the popcorn was warm and never ending.

Some of the menu descriptions left you scratching your head, however most was just the Dutch influences. I had the jalapeño BBQ Burger with pepper jack cheese and onion. I thought I might suffer later, but it was excellent.We will return to sample the other menus items. No complaints.

Great food....wings are fantastic with a fabulous variety of sauces! Great burgers, pizza and more. Nice selection of draft beers. More well located TV's than most sports bars and good audio. A local favorite for Packers games, Brewers games, UW football and Marquette and UW basketball games!!!

We had a private party in side room. Wait staff was attentive and limited food choices very good. The DIY Bloody Mary bar(on Sundays) was open and popular. I would return when given the opportunity. It was a little confusing to find as its nestled in a shopping area off Capitol drive. The delicious Cheesecake was from Simmas, a local bakery.

The ONLY negative that I have experienced is the saltiness of the soups.I have ordered and enjoyed almost every other food on the menu.*******And offering a free very large sundae in one's birthday month with enough spoons to share keeps our group going back.

Sluggo"s has great bar food. We stopped in for lunch. Being retired allows you to even have a beer with lunch :) Sandwiches are very good whether burgers or others. Join the Sluggo's "club" and get monthly coupons with cash off your meals or some nice gifts as well. Great place, no matter what.
