We enjoyed the pizza a LOT! The next time we go I'll request more sauce and olives! Lady putting it together was a bit skimpy!
I would've given a five star rating BUT we had a problem with it being TOO breezy!! The people next to us agreed! A staff member told us they weren't allowed to change the thermostat settings! Thus, the meat wasn't hot. I mentioned that to a staff person.
I know THIS appears TOO critical, as the pizza was VERY good and couldn't bear the price!!

Stopped for supper with the kids. They loved the big kids Mac n cheese! Their take on meatloaf dinner was incredible. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. I can’t wait to go back and try more dinner items.

The Wisconsin State Journal has stated, “The (Monk’s) burgers have taken on somewhat of a legendary status in Sauk County.” We have to agree, our burgers are pretty fantastic because we pride ourselves on quality ingredients. Hotel clerk recommended Monks to me for a good burger. Burger was above average and homemade chips were a bit cold. Most memorable was the attentive service. Atmosphere was a cross between a sports bar and a kids arcade, probably because of the touristy area.

We are a locals favorite located downtown Dells. We do a great home made breakfast. Great fresh charbroiled burgers, home made pizza, unique sandwiches. We are family friendly and can accommodate large groups.

We asked our timeshare where would be a great place to eat. Immediately they recommended The Keg and Patio. So the next morning, we headed out. We had a little difficulty finding the restaurant. Finally found it and parked out back. When we entered, we were immediately greeted and seated. At that time they were not busy. We made our selection and it didn't take too long for our food. We had the gyros omelet and it was wonderful! And it was plentiful as well. You will not leave hungry! Before we left, it started getting busy. We will definitely go back on our next visit.

We went for ice cream. This, like every establishment we saw at The Dells, was BUSY. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, even amid the throng of people coming and going. We took our ice cream, okay frozen custard, outside and enjoyed the lovely evening just watching the world zoom by.

We used TripAdvisor to find this place and it was a home run. I had crabcake Benedict and she had regular Benedict. Great. I ordered on pancake for "dessert" and it was about the best pancake I've ever had. Coffee excellent. Service excellent. An old time cottage house sort of, quaint, old fashioned, definitely local cooking. Worth the extra mile out of town to access.
