We, born2travel staff, have spent a nice evening at Drogheria Biondi, chatting with the nice Tommaso, the owner, and another customer about Spoleto culture but above all tasting a great "panino" with jam hand cut with homemade cheese. Nice place located in the city center of Spoleto and perfect stop over during your stay. aboslutely recommended it

After 2 months in Italy we had the best meal on our travels at this restaurant. Not your typical pizza/pasta restaurant but a truly seasonal menu (the menu here only changed 10 days ago). We had the local pasta (strangozzi) with Sanguinoso (bloody) mushrooms which are red inside when you cut them. We also shared the same pasta with local truffles. Combine that with a brilliant (big) local red wine recommended by the restaurant, Sangrantino and we ended up with a stunning meal. The Sanguinoso mushrooms are only available fresh in October and November.

Unique, original, cozy with valued food this Bistrot near to the historical center of Spoleto. Where you are in you can forget about routine and have your aperitif or drink in the bar before your dinner. The dining area is furnished with style and the service is excellent! Good selection of wines and craft beers! Something different to have good memories of Spoleto!

We visited Spoleto recently during our European holiday. Spoleto is a regular stop-off point whenever we holiday in Italy. The most special experience during our recent visit was discovering "Wine and Passion Enoteca Wine Bar". We popped in nonchantly one warm afternoon to be warmly greeted by Gail who we immediately warmed to. She was delightful. She quickly arranged a wine tasting together with some finger food. Her knowledge of Italian wines was impressive especially the local wines. We called in 2 or 3 times after that and always received the warmest of greetings. She introduced us to some of her friends, arranged food to support the fine wine and made us feel at home. Gail's business hasn't been open all that long so we encourage you all to visit Wine and Passion as you will receive the most friendly welcome and taste a number of truly superb wines. Thank you Gail.
