Can't come to Nerja without a tapas run here. Terrific wine matched by the free tapas. Went with my big bro a few times. One Saturday when we had enjoyed a couple of tapas we ordered another fine glass of wine and were offered newly made paella as the free tapas. Class! Also, the 3 of us visited for dinner and were blown away with the quality of food which included steak and octopus (me) which came with lovely veg and the spanish version of scallop potatoes. The tapas here is to die for. The staff are extremely friendly and very efficient. Sitting inside or outside it has this fantastic atmosphere. It has literally something for everyone. We sat and just people watch for hours. I highly recommend this place

This tapas wine bar is down a side street so easily missed but what a find! The staff were so friendly and able to advise on wine and food. The tapas and wine were both excellent and well priced. If only we had found it earlier!

We chose this restaurant as Iâm vegetarian and Iâd read online they had veggie options. It is true there are a lot of good options for vegetarians and really good value. We went for veggi burger and hummus but be careful, all our orders were too spicy so our kid could not eat anything and we end up ordering food for him from the opposite restaurant. It is weird for a hummus to be so hot...As for the decoration, it is a bit old fashioned but it is situated in a quiet area in Nerja and it turns to be relaxing

HI All, Stumbled upon this place one afternoon when out for a walkabout and found it to be a very nice little Tapas bar with very friendly staff. We only stayed for a short while as they were closing early that day as they have a good wine selection and were doing a wine tasting event that night so were closing at 4.30. We were going home the next night but made a point of going back the next afternoon and I had a pint and my wife had a glass of wine and we got a couple of free tapas with the drinks, I noticed people having a small beer about a third of a pint (I think) were also receiving a free tapas but hey I'm Scottish and we like a pint. Decided to get a good bottle of wine which was recommended, and a few tapas and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The chap who I think owned the bar ( sorry didn't get his name) and the other lad who worked there seemed very friendly and were always looking to see if everyone was okay. When, not If, I go back to Nerja,I will definitely be visiting Starrs a bit more often, coz this time, just found it a "Little To Late"

Superb selection of cold plates and some of Europe's best beers. Informal and friendly atmosphere with good attentive service. If you are lucky enough to get a spot outside, you can watch the world go by. Super find.

Walking around Nerja one evening we found Botanic. We ventured through to the rear which was the restaurant.The building and interior are very plush and clearly a cut above the rest for design and ambience.Service was good, however, some of the courses were disappointing. I ordered foie gras, which was clearly a de frosted terrine and was barely edible. My main course of ox tail was delicious. However my wifeâs experience was not as good. She chose a crab starter, which did not look or taste appealing. Her main was much better, but the starters stopped us really wanting to return in a hurry. I hope these are teething problems and they improve in the coming months
