Visited with friends while on vacation. Big group of people. Service was more than fantastic. Fast, informed, smiling, polite. Unlike most places we visited locally. Food was simply fantastic. Large portions, well cooked. Couldnât find a simple problem. The waiters managed to keep everyone happy, what ever we asked for. Will not have the chance to visits again since we are leaving but just have to highly recommend this place. Prices very very reasonable. Well done guys.

We stumbled across Castello whilst exploring the town of Bansko... Slightly off the beaten track, Castello sits off of the âmainâ strip, (follow the road to Flash club). Set back down a cobbled street, the âcastle-esqueâ building is very impressive. You enter through double glass doors and feel as if you are some Greek castle, with chandeliers and wood everywhere. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter, who provided us with exceptional service all evening. The food was sensational, in particular; the tuna tartar, king prawns, octopus and calamari. The fish is imported from Greece, along with a selection of the wines and the meat - everything is very fresh! After our first meal, we booked to go back for our last evening of our holiday and were not disappointed! We will be back.

One of my best food experiences ever...We visited âMehana Bai Kotseâ the last night before leaving Bansko and I was just sorry that I wouldnât come back...At least not for this year. We were lucky finding a table near the fireplace (exactly what you see in the photo of the restaurant),4 adullts and 2 children.We order lamb,pork,chicken,the specialty that they have on one plate with the fires,french fries,a huge salade and of course wine.Everything tasty and fresh and really big portions.They had live music that I loved,they even played and sang in Greek,when they realised that we were Greeks.Service excellent (the waiter was speaking English,but one of us also speaking Bulgarian). And yes...You will meet Santa Claus outside of this restaurant!!! Iâve eaten in more luxurious restaurants,but I can not compare them with the genuine quality of eating just simple,fresh,well cooked food.The welcome was so warm (if you spend the whole day in the cold mountains,you appreciate this more). Definitely recommend this place!!!All of us will keep it as a wonderful memory!

Our party visited for lunch and had the most delicious selection of bruschettaâs cheese platter and gnocchi. I would say one of the best restaurants in Bansko. It is well worth the walk down to the old town. The owner was incredibly welcoming and is very knowledgeable about the wine and itâs origin. This is a hidden gem cannot wait to return again.

The food is fantastic, made by the owners who are amazing! Kiko & Drago & crew are outstanding. You feel immediately welcomed and they make sure youâre satisfied, which of course you are because the food is delicious! Even the coffee is great.
