Find out what Thai restaurants to try in Newcastle upon Tyne. Once a shipbuilding city, Newcastle's flashier claim to fame is nightlife. Throw in a heap of premium restaurants serving foods from all over the world and it's no wonder young partiers choose to blow their hard-earned (or not-so-hard-earned) cash in Newcastle. While these amenities are certainly a draw for the hipsters and culture-seekers, it's the locals that make Newcastle a truly special place to visit. "Geordies," as they are often called, embody the pride, industriousness and resilient spirit of their city.

Will definitely return soon and would recommend it.Hi stephanie005_12,Thank you for the review! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit here and we hope to see you again soon.Regards

I can't express how good this place is.With a two course lunch at £7.99!!!!!Everything was perfect; from the Tom Yum soup to the main course (that I can't remember the name of), the service, the price (£7.99 if you've forgotten)â¦.. Everything. We are returning very, very shortly to sample the full, evening menu.GO.

Escape the bustle of the city with a visit to Chaophraya Newcastle. Find us on the top floor of Intu Eldon Square with views out to Greyâs Monument. The restaurant offers an impressive mix of classic Thai and Thai re-imagined dishes with a stunning roofto
When you look at this restaurant from the outside, the idea to have your dinner with that view is very appealing, sadly you don't always get it. We booked here after a fabulous afternoon at the theatre seeing Les Miserables. The food was delicious, I had a Pad Thai which was very tasty, unfortunately no view and no cheery staff, but don't let that put you off. My fellow munchers were very pleased with their choices too, so all in all a bit hitty missy for the view but the food is up to scratch.Khop Khun Kha (thank you) Priscillapitstop for taking the time to leave your valued feedback. We are honoured to hear you enjoyed Khun Kim's award winning Pad Thai on your visit, we take great pride in serving Khun Kim's traditional Thai dishes. I am disappointed to hear you found the service to be poor, I will be sure to share your comments with them. If you have any preference to where you would like to sit in the restaurant, please don't hesitate to put a note in your booking or give us a call. We can never guarantee a window table but will try to accommodate your request. We hope to welcome you back soon. Kind Regards, Chaophraya Newcastle

Taken to this place by friends whilst in Newcastle. Great atmosphere and décor with unusual neon lighting.... especially for a Thai restaurant! We had the set meal for 4 which was a great choice, saved all that decision making about who's having what. Plenty of food, in fact we left some of the rice, with a mix of spicy and plain dishes. Good value too for what we had.Wouldn't hesitate to return.
