Morning, noon or night, what a great place. Espresso here, phenomenal. Cocktails here, phenomenal. (Oddly, its the mojitos that will knock your socks off). Also, great small bites and tapas. This is one of the in places to be on this side of the Limmat. Crowded, but not too crowded and people of all ages. You can sit inside at individual or communal tables, or outside on the large patio.Service here was über friendly and efficient. The only sad thing was we found this place on our last few hours in Zurich.

The cabbie couldn't really find the place because it was not what he was really looking for, I believe. And my wife and I felt more or less the same way. But there it was; not very impressive on the outside, and the inside was only slightly better. But the service was marvelous and the food was superb. The wine list was pretty good, too, BUT -- like everything else in this wonderful old city -- EXPENSIVE. Many people find themselves in this situation: checked in at an airport hotel for an early morning departure and looking for a great restaurant to top off a weeks long European trip. If you find yourself in this situation in Zurich (at the Holiday Inn Express or the Park Inn by Radisson in Ruemlang) be sure and go to this restaurant. The menu offered many different choices, among them traditional Swiss foods and daily specials (wild boar and red deer the night we were there), as well as a good choice of wines. For dinner, we chose rösti and flammekueche (Tarte flambée) and for dessert, tiramisu. All of the items were delicious and the staff were exceptionally helpful. This restaurant is highly recommended.

We visited for dinner on a cool October evening and warm central fireplace added to relaxing atmosphere. Menu is heavily focused on different fondue ,cordon bleu , unique burgers and tartar starters. Pricey as most of Switzerland but attentive ,helpful service. Convenient walk from the Hotel Welcome Inn where we were staying. We had an enjoyable but simple dinner.

Was taken here by work colleagues as a leaving lunch. Service is good and the selection of food available is sufficient for most palates.My only critism is that living in the Mediterranean we like our sauces to be creamy and possibly slightly excessive, could have used a bit more sauce but that is a personal preference.Staff very pleasant and helpful, a nice little place with a cosy atmosphere.

Only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was great. One of the better omelettes I have had recently at a hotel breakfast. A little slow on noticing people wanted coffee refills but otherwise the food was very good and a wide selection. Went for Thai foods. Not as authentic taste as I expected but it's ok. It's good for special occasions with family or a date. They have another type of restaurant for westerners. The restaurant accepts the dog only if he behaves. Also, they have a park nearby where you can walk your dog there.

Excellent service, friendly, helpful, good business lunch and others, very comfortable seating, rather quiet without unpleasant music. Dessert is a tiny bit on the sweet side but beautifully presented. The price of the business lunch is acceptable for an expensive city like Zürich. My friends have lamb, they find it good. For the celebration of my mother's 90st birthday, she choose the "Frohsinn" which we visit every now and then only, as it is a distance from our home. The welcome was warm, gracious and accommodating, the table in the wintergarden lovingly set and the service very attentive. We were able to have a drink bevor lunch on the terrace, as the weather was very nice, which of course added to our well being. I had pre-ordered the menu and the preparation of the food was excellent, the meet (a veal roast) very tender and juicy and the presentation very appealing. It tasted excellent and the wine we had chosen was great as well. We will certainly return and can only recommend the restaurant.
