Right now, hunting season is the prickle for venison. As an entrée, we enjoyed a nicely decorated field salad. My wife enjoyed a tender saddle of roe deer venison fillet with all the classical hunting season side dishes. My taste buds were made happy with a delicious roe steak. Both meals were served with homemade spätzli, red cabbage, chestnuts, cranberries and different game sauces. The mushroom sauce was especially delightful.The service was very courteous. We ate in the nicely decorated side room of the restaurant with comfortable wooden chairs. Decorations and furniture in this side room underline the homey, local Emmental culture.

A really bad experience, I use to travel a lot and sleep often abroad. I never experienced such bad experience...I was asked by the owner to leave the bedroom at 7.30 in the morning after have paid during my arrival the evening before.He knocked very hard on my door in the morning as in a school college, asking me to hurry up for the breakfast....after it, no time to pack and the reason was that he had a meeting somewhere, I asked if I could leave the bedroom's key somewhere but he started to scream and I suppose no good things in German. No guest reception expertise, no professionalism. To avoid.Ich möchte den Sachverhalt richtig stellen. Kam sehr verspätet an. Haben für ihn sogar noch zu später Stunde gekocht. Sogar noch gratis Grappa gekriegt! Normalerweise Frühstück um 7.00 Uhr. Machten es möglich auf 6.30 Uhr. Um 7.15 Uhr noch kein Gast da, obwohl er wusste dass ich Privatrermin in Bern hatte auf 8.30 Uhr. Keine Entschuldigung dass er verschlafen hätte! Liess sich bewusst Zeit bis 7.45 Uhr bis er endlich ging. Mit uns gespielt .. er zahle ja! Das Zimmer sah aus wie wenn eine Bombe geworfen worden wäre. Hätte mehr Anstand und Dankbarkeit von ihm erwartet. Charakter lässt grüssen!

Siamo stati per cena e abbiamo preso una padella di rosti con verdura mista e la tartare classica con patatine fritte. Tutto era molto buono e anche le porzioni buone. Non ci stava il dolce.Ambiente informale e caratteristico. Grazie alla proprietaria che parlava un buon ticinese che ci ha aiutato con la scelta dei piatti che già sul menù sono molti, più quelli del giorno.I prezzi credo nella media svizzera, ma per noi italiani purtroppo sempre un pò alti.

Seit das Restaurant von der Familie Lim übernommen wurde, haben wir schon 2x mit Freude hier gegessen. Das Buffett am FR Abend ist toll, das Essen sehr gut und die frisch zubereiteten Frühlingsrollen und Curry-Teigtaschen ein echter Gaumenschmaus! Das Serviceteam ist sehr aufmerksam und gastfreundlich. Und für die Kinder gibts Live-Kino: der Bademeister reinigt das Pool ! Wir kommen wieder!

A friend invited me for a quick evening meal to the Bädli. We found enough parking space available and then enjoyed a table in the corner of the restaurant. The food was served hot, nicely arranged. This is a place where you find people sitting around in the evening for a drink, exchanging the newest stories of the day, doing local politics.

We went here with a group of more than 10 people. The service was fast with friendly personnel. Even though the restaurant was full with people ordering and eating, the service person was friendly and answered all our questions cordially. This is a good place for big groups or for a date. They also have room to stay overnight.

We have visited the Turm Garden twice and each time the service personnel was so friendly and helpful. They have the gift of offering Asian friendliness and warmth in Switzerland. The decoration in the restaurant is Chinese. Their menus are Asian from different countries and cooked very tasty and beautifully arranged on hot plates.This time we truly enjoyed the steaming hot Want Tan soup. The Malay duck with curry was delicious and my wife enjoyed her Jasmin tee too. An extra bonus is that the food is served on hot plates. By the way, their menu card gives you a huge variety of meals to choose. The Restaurant Turm Garden staff have the gift of cooking and serving Asian meals that are somewhat adapted to the European taste, but are still catering to our Asian taste buds. They serves high quality Asian food with a smile. Great Atmosphere, great service and very friendly. We will return. Thank you Turm Garden staff. :-)

We met here for a lunch business meeting and were given a nice corner table where we could talk without everyone listening in on our conversation. The service was fast, the staff friendly, the prices not too steep. My colleague hat the menu of the day and I enjoyed a juicy Gordon Bleu with lots of mini French fires. So good. This restaurant dates back to 1417 and the house as it is today dates back about 150 years. As hundreds of years ago, so today the young owners serves freshly made food from the market. For a good meal, this is the place to go! They also have hotel rooms to stay over night.
