I visited the Lotus 10years ago when I was in Brielle and it was Brilliant then.Again this June I find myself back in the area and revisited the resteraunt.I have to say again I was not disappointed it was fantastic.The staff are friendly the place has a great atmosphere and above all the food served ranks as the best chineese food I have ever tasted.I would say this is a must visit place to eat for people who enjoy chineese food of which some of it is cooked in front of you.

This is a restaurant that opened in circa 2012, down near the river. It is very similar in concept to Shabu Shabu, in Rotterdam - one pays around 30 Euros per adult - you receive a menu, and fill in a form which allows you to have up to 5 meals (per person), per round. Food was quite quick - staff were pleasant, and the food was good. Similarly to Shabu Shabu - for its ilk, it's good.

Service was very poor. Salmon wasn't enough to feed the seagulls despite being described as 'medium.' Summer vegetables included were actually a tiny side garnish. Very nouvelle cuisine. Drink was warm. Had to order a Jacket potato to compensate - comes with bacon but not mentioned in menu. Great location but sadly not for its food.

The location is great, in the former trainstation. But... the foodpresentation isnât great. The waitresses were are asking to frequently if you want something to drink (the drinks are not included in the price). The dessert (always icecream in these sort of restaurant) is very cheap ice. The taste of the icecream is really poor!!!!
