Discover Restaurants offering the best Sushi food in Cascais, Central Portugal, Portugal. A coastal town just 20 miles west of Lisbon, Cascais was once a small fishing village, but its idyllic scenery attracted the attention of artists, writers and expelled European nobility in the 20th century. Today, it still attracts high society, but all society comes in force to enjoy the gorgeous beaches and adventure options like sailing and surfing. The Conde de Castro Guimarães Museum, a former palace, is now open to the public and displays an impressive collection of art and artifacts.

Indeed living in Cascais I had thos place on my list for a very long time..and it didnt dissapoint...very fresh..and tasty..and also a very cosy warm dim lighted atmosphere..its definitely a dinner place...not a lunch place..all due to its night atmosphere..one of Cascais most dim lighted and cosy for sure and since its small itll never get too crowded.. food is nicely prepared and presented, we must return to try more on the menu.

We had an amazing foodie evening here, first we shared several great appetizers including ceviche and soft crab then took the sushi combined plate which was excellent, all in a lush summer terrace atmosphere with great view over the ocean, great service by our waiter Ian as well (they could perhaps just be a bit more relaxed in taking empty plates away, not the second you finish, but that's the Portuguese habit, and he was overall very friendly and highly efficient and fast), would strongly recommend, do make a prior reservation and ask for a table near the oceanfront barrier, early booking is better as it fills up, and order appetizers and main course at once to avoid long waits (we saw another table taking a bit long to get their main course but had ordered all at once and had no problem at all)

We ate here twice with our family. It's a bit more pricy than some other restaurants in that area. But worth the money if you like a leisurely meal in a nice ambiance. Ample choice on the menu, food beautifully presented as well. Quality mostly good too. Staff is friendly but could be a bit mor eattentive.

The food is very good and well prepared Japanese fusion (Japanese preparation using local ingredients with a few non-Japanese dishes). The quality is high and the cooks know what they are doing. It is expensive but all good sushi/sashimi/tempura is expensive - don’t compare it to the many cheap pile-it-high and hope for the best places with untrained cooks, cheap ingredients and poor rice. Here the rice is as good as in Japan and the cooks have been carefully trained. My complaint is that the tables are far too small. Japanese food needs space to be presented elegantly. Here everything had to be crammed on a small table. Oh, and their website is down.
