So splendid was medieval Verona that its reputation alone inspired Shakespeare to set two plays here (Romeo and Juliet and The Two Gentlemen of Verona). Though its connection to the actual Capulets is tenuous at best, the so-called Juliet's House draws half a million tourists per year, many of them keen on reenacting the balcony scene. Don't miss the Roman amphitheater and the Palazzo Barberi.

Came here two nights in a row because this place was so good! It’s great for somebody who’s looking for some food, but also on a budget. The pictures below only cost me €8.something! The receipt is of tonight but it’s just to show prices. Great selection of pizza and to weigh it by the gram is a great idea. Got some free cake too! Thanks!

This is a small pizza restaurant with maybe six tables. It also does takeaway. You order the pizza, panini etc at the table and pick up beer or wine from the fridge. The pizzas were both outstanding. I had four cheese and my partner had four seasons. The restaurant was very clean, the owners were very friendly. Could not fault it.

Everything has started with an idea of genuine food, simple, cheap and fast. This type of food service is usually offered by some fast food companies which hardly reflect all those values. Especially if we consider genuineness, an increasing trend which i

This looked like a fairly popular spot with locals, and the Pasta Norma I got didn’t disappoint. I was looking for something light to take to my apartment and this was perfect. I think it was around 8 euro. The pasta was hot and al dente, the sauce was rich and delicious. I did add crushed pepperoncino peppers and some oil to the top before I left for home, which was a nice addition. While fast food is not typically an Italian custom, it’s nice to have this option. There are more “street food” options popping up that offer savory dishes – in addition to the pizza-by-the-slice and panini options there have been.
