The lunch included breaded and fried pork chop, potatoes with cream, soup and salad. I think it varies from day to day. Everything was delicious. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was authentic. Iâve lived in Oklahoma and they got it right with the food and, music, and decor.

Jumbo is one of the big malls in Helsinki area, technically in Vanda. Malls are known to have a number of eateries, but mostly fast food or âsloppyâ food. This is why Fonda Del Sol is a pleasant surprise. It delivers tasty quality food, well presented and efficiently served! Not only a âpit stopâ to fill energy, but an experience making your tastebuds happy and your body and soul rejuvenated. Absolutely recommended. However, being in a mall it may not be the place for a romantic dinner.

I have now visited here twice and on the first visit I didn't go for steaks but took ribs instead. They were ok but that industrial taste is distinct and I suspect that the ribs were only heated here.This time we had steaks - tournedos, entrecôte and beef fillet. Tournedos was ok with some hot garlic potatoes to go but the price is not a match with this one. It's not a true Tournedos. My entrecôte dish was a disappointment, something out of cheaper places. They asked which maturity I wanted and I said medium rare yet I was served a well done, really well done. For entrecôte it meant that all the fat was gone and the meat was completely grey. It was also resting on top of basic chips and some vegetables a side, looking cheap. The beef fillet was served with chips and Caesar salad with anchovy - I ask - how could that possible be a match? It wasn't.Overall, this is too expensive for its quality and execution. Minor corrections are to really get the maturities right if you advertise and ask them but the bigger issue is that the dishes are probably meant to have "stuff" without the need to think about how all matches together. That is average, sorry.The decoration is also cheap, bit dirty and at least the chairs next to the windows are quite uncomfortable. That's not an issue but for a romantic dinner it might be worth to check elsewhere.Hi Jukka,Thank you for writing us, we are sorry to hear that your stay was not what you expected.
