Went to this restaurant to celebrate my son's 40th birthday and was disappointed. Either they are still having growing pains or they just dont have a game to match their price. We love good food and are very prepared to pay good dollars for exceptional food and service and we found neither here. Cole the waiter tried very hard but very new. No problem with that because we all have to learn our craft. The problem is, because of a variety of shortfalls in service, they really should have had someone still shadowing him, so he would know how to react to the shortfalls from the kitchen. None of the food was hot! OK, I know, I should have gotten the manager involved but Im not going to make a scene to spoil someone elses special day. At this point Im not planning a return anytime soon.Hello filtermann, thank you for taking the time to share. We came back for my wife's birthday, who is also a twin, so we enjoyed this meal and birthday with both ladies! Nice atmosphere and tasty meal went down well. Everyone else went with the steak & lobster dinners, however I love the tasty halibut. Our server (WEI C.) did a good task, however was very busy with a table of (10) next to us.

The Keg use to be the place to eat but lately have found it going downhill. It is busy and they seem to want to get you in and out as fast as possible. The plates seem to have smaller and smaller portions. The orders are not prepared as ordered.....rare steak is not suppose to be brown throughout and crusty burnt on top. The baked potatoes seem to be pre-baked and then warmed up to serve. For the price there is lot better places to eat in the area.

Food has sadly gone downhill here. Dinner last night with acquaintances the common complaint was over salted. My Ahi tuna salad really needed work. The tuna was well.....flat out old and flavourless. Common S & L management, fix this. How can your QC be that pathetic that you would let meals go out the door like this? On another note i left 3/4 of the meal on my plate, server asked, "Are you done with your plate?" Lovely. Not one question about if there was a problem etc. This place can learn a lot from Cactus Club and Earls. I will not be back.

We spent our anniversary evening at the Scott Road Keg as we have for the last couple of years. We frequent this location at least 3-4 times per month. I've visited most of the Keg locations in Canada and for my money this is the best of them all.This is a well-managed restaurant. The staff here is excellent and are always sincerely happy you visited. Food is top notch and a really good value. It's not cheap but compared to other chains you get really good value on a great steak and sides.Like any place they do make the occasional mistake. What sets them apart is their eagerness to fix any issues and ensure that keep wanting to come back. I highly recommend visiting this location.
