Unfortunately, when I called I was told this location does not take patio reservations, even for an early dinner for a party of 11...Made no effort to try to accommodate us....guess theyâre too busy for our business. I had a meeting with several businesses partners and was looking for a upscale but fresh dinning establishment . When I reached out to my colleagues as to inquire about meeting at 400 Beach Seafood and Tap house I was quite impressed that everyone would choose this location. We were not disappointed. Food was fabulous, service was incredible and the server was knowledgeable. We enjoyed our meeting. It was perfect for us to discuss what we needed and not be disturbed. Management stopped by as to inquire about our dinning and thanked us for choosing their restaurant. We will definitely be holding all our our meetings here as we fly in from different parts of the country. Thank you to the manager and staff at 400 Beach Seafood and Tap house.

The restaurant is upscale and is pleasing inside. The service that we received was outstanding, The menu and their outside sign pushes the prime rib dinner for $23. So ;we ordered the prime rib. Both ordered the same-medium well.When they arrived, one was well done and the other was about rare. Both potatoes were burnt with skins like leather.I dont think we will be back.Thank you for coming. We are delighted you had outstanding service. I apologize that your prime rib dinners were not cooked as ordered-had you let your server know we would have replaced both immediately to your satisfaction 'no questions asked'. I don't understand your comment on the baked potatoes as we make them fresh daily. I sure hope you will give us a 2nd chance to impress you and show you why we are known for the 'best prime rib in town'!

My wife and I stopped by here for dinner recently while shopping in the area. There appeared to be sufficient off-street parking and the place was average as far as being clean and well-maintained. (With peanut shells/dust all over the floor and tables, it is tough to say it is a clean place!) There was a long wait despite the staff stating we would be seated shortly. There is a rowdy bar atmosphere throughout the place so don't come here if you would like to have a conversation with anyone in your party. (I kept asking the waitress to repeat what she said because I couldn't understand what she said and she just started talking to my wife like I wasn't there. I never did understand anything the waitress said during our entire visit.) The food overall ranged from good to very good and our server was attentive. They had 2 for 1 cocktails on the night we came so my wife was surprised to get two drinks for her one order (the server did not tell her this would happen and this was our first time at this establishment). My wife says we will likely come back again in future however, despite the food being pretty good overall I am not in a rush to return. I still have a headache from the loud atmosphere and I like to be able to talk to others without shouting.

Visited tonight. Got seated straight away in a booth. As soon as I sat down my foot slipped from under me from a pool of mayonnaise all over the floor. It was all over my shoe! How can the staff not notice this when resetting the table?? Had to ask to be reseated though I actually just wanted to leave at that point. The floor all over the restaurant was covered in dirty papers and straw covers, pieces of food. Itâs pretty obvious that the bus boys just wipe any remnants from the dirty tables straight onto the floors. My husband was so looking forward to the ribs that I tried to look past this. My fillet steak was really delicious, juicy and cooked to perfection. My husband said the ribs were the best he had ever tasted though his sirloin (combo) was over cooked but still tasty. The four sides were just ok. Steak and ribs 10/10, but only 6/10 for the rest. Câmon guys, tidy the floor up (I donât mean the peanut shells). I wouldnât go back sorry

We went for our Anniversary dinner as all our normal St. Petersburg restaurants were blocked-off for the First Friday venue. Valet parking meets you street-side, Hostess opens door as you walk-up. They are expect you and greet you accordingly, which so many other restaurants canât seem to fathom. The service is timely, efficient, and friendly without being too friendly. The cod fish was excellent with an Asian flair. The Strip Steak, while aged was not Prime, so I opted for the 10 oz. Filet. Cooked to order it was good. Could have been seasoned more, so ask for the seasoning you desire as they under season their meat. The side of mushrooms was very good. Appetizer Crab Cake was full of crab with almost no filler! Very good! And they provided a complimentary flour free double chocolate cake for our Anniversary! Nice touch! Weâll be back to try the lamb and duck! The only criticism is for the prices their cuts need to be aged Prime not simply aged.
