Every time I visit I think, “this has got the be the best steak I’ve ever had”. They also have amazing starters (the bruschetta is very good). Also has great lamb, fish and vegetarian options that the group I was with highly rated. And my experience of the service has been excellent.Excellent bar to meet clients or friends before your meal, and it caters for private or business functions. Set menu options also make this great for larger business groups as I’ve experienced on previous occasions.Highly recommend.

Little Savanna

The bringing together of NZ and South African cultures, where flame grilling the best of NZ produce sets us apart. Spacious and amazing environment with friendly service. Suitable for those wanting a meal, drink or just a coffee. Gluten free and vegetaria

Surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night which has to be a good sign. Great atmosphere very friendly and helpful staff. The fish was a little dry otherwise all the meals were very good. Even for a Tuesday night parking was a struggle. Curtainly worth a visit when in Palmerston NorthThank you Paul for your feedback, which we really appreciate. Will certainly address the dry fish with the chefs, who will be most disappointed. There are a couple of parking lots close by with plenty of parking if you struggle to get street parking close by.

Friday night dinner for the first time at this very cool themed restaurant. To summarise, great service, food and atmosphere. A wide range of very delicious meals including viable options for low-carb. The lamb shoulder was delicious and a reasonable portion size, i.e. not ridiculously large. I can't wait to go again!

Really regret dining here as previous experience wasn't flash either. Couldn't eat the steak served. If the table service was a bit more proactive maybe the main could have been rectified. Yet that wasn't the case that evening so stuck with an unattractive presented main, boring coleslaw and a bad piece of supposedly prime beef steak. Certainly not value for money and given the abundance of completion no reason to go back. On a good note the dessert was very nice and flat white coffee to follow very well made. Thanks to Management for trying to put things right on the night but doesn't detract from a bad experience unfortunately.
