We wanted to get a steak for supper before heading out of town. The food was great. I had a ribeye and my wife had the prime rib. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in town.Thank you for your compliments on our menu, we're glad you and your wife enjoyed your steak supper, and we look forward to serving you both again soon!

Arrived a little early for our party of four Saturday 6:30pm reservation. Quickly shown to our table with a easy path for my wife's wheelchair. Our waitress kept our glasses topped off with beverages, the red and green system is awesome. All service was outstanding. The salad bar is really good but we all tried to eat that in moderation to save room for the meat parade. Starting off all in our party sampled small bites of everything that was offered at the table, some of our party did not want to try the medium and rarer beef selections, but on my suggestions they finally did. I found the well done meats to be to dry and chewy but the rare to medium cuts are more tender and juicy. I order my steaks rare anyway but may not be for everyone. The favorites for our group in no particular order: Tri-Tip medium/medium rare, Parmesan Center Cut, Top Sirloin, 1.Chicken wrapped in Bacon, 2. Sweet and Spicy Chicken, Ham and the Grilled Pineapple, also some type of fish, White fish or maybe Cod can't remember, very good, I will add had to be very good because my wife tried some and really liked it and she is not really a fish eater. My step son and daughter in law sampled some of the hot side dishes and said they are good, potatoes and pasta. Next time I will taste more of the hot sides. We saved room for dessert, Crème Brulee was my choice, wife had the Three Layer Chocolate Cake with Bananas and Ice Cream. Atmosphere comfortable, lots of food choices, total of three in our party, all entrees, sides enjoyed by all. Service prompt and courteous. Quantities generous. Enjoyed baby back ribs, tender, good flavor, would recommend. Unfortunately two days later discovered credit card info stolen and used. Not sure if occurred here or restaurant the next day. Very discouraging experience for travelers. Don't know if managers of restaurants ever hear about this.

Simply awful.Firstly Hannah the bartender was too busy taking care of her drunk friends at the bar to take proper care of anyone else. Secondly, I ordered a salad and it never came. I chalked it up to crap service until the entree arrived. Third, the entree arrived and the filet was charred to a crisp on both sides. The blue cheese sauce was simply blue cheese dressing. Then I cut into the meat to take a bite. It was raw. I ordered medium. I then cut into the other side to see if maybe it the just one side....raw. I then cut in half. The entire filet was raw. Finally Hannah decided to pay attention and ask. She quickly took it away and said they'd remake it. Finally, the manager returns just a few minutes later with a pile of scraps on a plate. They simply cooked the junk they gave me. Gone was the nice filet that should have been. AVOID THIS PLACE. UNLESS YOU ARE FRIENDS WITH HANNAH OR LIKE GARBAGE SERVICE AND FOOD.Dear greenerob,Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent experience in Chattanooga. The restaurant had a rose ready for my wife, and many others who were celebrating. Gil made our dinner exceptional with his service. Our steaks were cooked to a T. We took our desserts to the hotel for later and Gil made that an easy process with some extra attention.I'm thrilled that your dining experience was so memorable! We hadn't been to Western Sizzlin in years and now I remember why. We went later in the evening and all the food tasted like it had been under heat lamp forever. Which it probably had since it was late in day. Our waitress never came to check on us or refill our drinks. Truly disappointing.
