This was our second time came to VIE CHAT. This time with special purpose and excitement.When we arrived at VIE CHAT, we chose to eat indoor. As soon as we entered the restaurant, manager greeted us with smile and asked us how many of us. He led us to a two-seat table and warmly reminded us there was a hook under the table where we could hang our bags. He brought us the menu and kindly asked us if we would like to have some drinks first and informed us the current promotion of the Hamburger Championship, happy hour and recommended a spring specialty, staff are so friendly and cute.Main courses: big dishes holding the hamburger and tuna salad, there were so many ingredients in the burger, even had avocado!!! The sauce is milky and pungent but also tasty. The famous Long Island Tea and Mango Margarita was excellent!! Next time we will try something more classic like MOJITO.The atmosphere just like the Shanghai Fondation tea in Xintiandi Shanghai, I will be back for sure!!!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Best steak in nanjing. Iâve been there 6 times now since it has opened and I have had excellent meals every time. I highly recommend the filet mignon but the aged beef is also mouth watering. Donât forget to the the vegetable soup.

Had a business dinner there. Great salads, fantastic french style meat dishes. Good wine choice. Service is not very attentive - here is definitely room for improvement. After we were finished with the main course - they removed everything including wine glasses and did neither offer dessert nor another drink.

Had the chance to patronize this famous restaurant while on a business trip to Taipei. Wang Steak is Taiwan's best known high-end steakhouse chain. This Zhongshan branch is one of 14 branches in Taiwan. Don't attempt to go without a booking as the restaurant is always full. The ambiance is dark & elegant. Would be great for a romantic dinner except the place is packed with people of all age groups, so don't expect a QUIET dining experience here. Do prepare to spend at least 2 - 3 hours here, to experience Wang Steak dining in all it's finery.The service is rated as No.1 in Taiwan's leading magazines. The staff are well trained, polite, respectful, courteous... the best customer service I have ever experienced.The food? They have a simple concept - everyone picks from their set menu. Price is NTD1300 +10% (around USD40). Best value for money experience! You pick your selections from a range of Aperitifs, Bread (yummy fresh!), Salad, Soup, Main Course (Wang Steak) served with their special plum juice, a side vege & a fruit, and finish with a dessert (beautiful) and drinks (hot or cold). All top quality food & presentation here.The famous Wang Steak is unlike steaks as we know it. It looks very different too. Once it's cut & tasted, you'll know why it's outstanding. Made from selected rib-meat (from the 6th to 8th rib only!) of a cow and then slowly cooked in their special marinate, Wang Steak is the most tender & delicious steak I have ever tasted, truly yummiest! The Vancouver Grill is inside the Fairmont Hotel in Jianye District (very near Olympic Stadium) in Nanjing on the 37th floor. It is a high end steakhouse and features beef from Australia & Canada with many unique complimentary dishes. I have dined here 3 times and have a fantastic experience each time. I am a beef guy and would say that this as good a steak as you can get in China prepared correctly and the beef handled well. The salads and soups (the lobster bisque is a must-try) are great tasting and are dazzling displays. Service is well done and there always seems to be an unexpected treat, with the chef having personally visited my table each meal. There are no complaints, but those coming ought to be aware this is not downtown Nanjing (although walking distance from metro and easy to get taxis here with hotel's help) and that the price is reasonable for this experience, but not a low-price meal. Highly recommend for business dinner, date night, a special dinner, or if you just want some good beef.Thank you for choosing Vancouver Grill as your preferred steak house in Nanjing.
